"Garuuu!"
Pucca opened the doors to the restaurant, to where Garu and the rest of their friends were sitting beside a nearby table. They all turned to Pucca when they heard her voice coming inside. When she sat down beside the table that they were in, they all sighed in relief.
"Where have you been?" Garu asked her. "You worried us there..."
"Sorry." Pucca responded. "I panicked a little there. But more importantly, I found out something that all of us have been searching for for a long time. I finally know about Sooga's dark history. And it's very crazy."
"You know about it?!" Abyo exclaimed. "That's amazing! Tell us, tell us, tell us!"
Pucca, having no other choice, told all of them the truth about what happened in Sooga in the past. She told them about Agapi and Akihiro, about the truth about the Akahato Clan. And the curse that Soo had placed upon them.
"No way, that sounds too crazy to be true..." Tobe added. "But it would explain the disappearance of the clan members... But Garu is eight right now... That means, oh God..."
"No way...!" Garu exclaimed in denial. "P-Pucca, you're kidding, aren't you? Where did you get this information...?"
Pucca felt her chest tighten when she saw the love of her life looking so desperate. Of course he was acting this way. He was desperate to change his father's upcoming destiny, dramatically wishing that Pucca was either joking, telling a lie, or was delusional. Anything to prove that what she said wasn't real.
If there was something Pucca could do to end the unfair curse that Soo had placed on the Akahato clan, then she would do anything to stop it... even if it meant rebelling against her own master and create a revolution. That rule was too unfair...
"...In all honesty, Ring-Ring only said it to me." Pucca confessed.
"Speaking of Ring-Ring, where is she right now?" Ching questioned her. "Usually, you'd be with her..."
"She's at the shrine." Pucca replied. "I'm honestly not really sure if she is going to come or not."
"We need to do something about this." Tobe said. "We cannot let Daisuke-san die!"
"That's right!" Abyo added, ripping his shirt in two. "Hi-ya!"
Although Tobe and Abyo sounded confident that they could prevent the curse from happening this time, Pucca wasn't sure. After all, this curse was created by a god. And not just any god, but Pucca's own master.
Even though Pucca was a goddess, she can't do anything to Soo because he is superior to her. Think of it like a government. The vice president can do many things, but they are not allowed to do anything to rebel against the president.
"Ching..." Pucca said. "What happens when Won is out of your head...?"
"Oh, Won..." Ching responded. "Haha... the effects on me are going to be terrible. REALLY terrible. I get a horrible sickness. My father said I was born with an illness that only the chicken can cure. He said my mother had the same illness, and she passed away from it."
"Huh...? Does this mean you got the illness from her inside of her stomach?"
"Kind of. This illness was already here ever since the very first woman in my family was born. I think it was around Agapi's time, you know, before she got cursed by this Soo you're talking about."
"Wait, that means she was there when the curse on the Akahato clan took place. So then, was your family cursed, too...?"
"Only the females have this illness. The males are perfectly fine, though."
