Juliet's heart is racing a thousand miles per second. Romeo has the throttle on his Mustang wide open. The engine revs up second after second until Juliet's eyes begin having trouble focusing on the passing scenery which she finds is nothing but a kaleidoscope of colors void of any dimension. And the only thought running through Juliet's mind is the thought of making it to her house in one complete piece!

ROMEO

(reading Juliet's emotions now bordering on ill) I thought your kind loved to speed?

JULIET

We do. . .when we are grounded.

Romeo chuckles. And Juliet thinks Romeo's chuckle pleasant thus easing the tension pulling in her stomach while thinking that it was going to take more than a crowbar to pry Juliet's bottom from her seat!

ROMEO

Would you like for me to slow down?

JULIET

If I say "no", that makes me an adrenaline junkie. If I say "yes", then that would make me weak.

ROMEO

And what? SilverBloods are not supposed to show any emotion?

JULIET

We are half-breeds. . .What do you think?

ROMEO

I say you need to stop putting on a show and start showing who you truly are.

JULIET

That is easy for you to say. You are still human in some way.

ROMEO

If I were still human would I be able to do this?

Romeo, in the blink of Juliet's eye, halts the Mustang to a standstill without buckling neither he nor Juliet in their seats. Juliet's eyes widen. Particularly at the fact that they were now both sitting in front of her house AND in one piece.

JULIET

(panting breathless) I guess not!

Juliet leans over the back of her seat to retrieve her handbag off the backseat of Romeo's Mustang. With handbag in hand, Juliet is ready for Romeo to lead her off his car. But Romeo makes no attempt to move as he just sits there in his seat gazing lovingly at Juliet who he believes is becoming more beautiful by the passing second. Juliet opens her mouth to say something to Romeo but the windows to his Mustang start to roll up. Juliet notices the sky turning grey.

ROMEO

It is going to rain. When it stops, I will open the door for you.

JULIET

Why not open the door before it starts to rain?
