The guards raced towards the bank of the lake and the edge of the dock, unsheathing their swords to keep guard over the dock as Filgeth stood his ground in front of the wooden platform. His staff was held in his left hand as he watched Kinnon ride towards him. He looked onward as he barely slowed down and jumped off of the back of the horse. His face was angry--worried, too--and he approached Filgeth with his sword in his hand. But Filgeth did not have to see his face to know this; he could feel it.

"Where is she?" Kinnon shouted fiercely.

"What, no how are you these days, Filgeth?" he replied with a smile.

Kinnon did not look amused. He walked towards him and grabbed him by his shirt, yanking him towards himself. It shocked Filgeth, actually. "Listen here, filth, I will kill every one of you if you don't answer me."

Filgeth laughed. "She's sinking. Tick tock, Kinnon, you've got only a few moments to get through everyone here and to your precious princess." He let out a deep chuckle. Kinnon was skilled, yes, but not skilled enough to defeat him and his five men. The princess was dead, and that pleased him. "Unless you want her to die." He taunted.

Kinnon shoved him to the ground with a strong force, then kicked him in the head. Filgeth stared out to the distance for a moment, blatantly surprised at him. Granted, he still had to get through the others; and even if he did get through him, surely he would be too late.

Filgeth lifted his head, but it dropped back to the ground as he blacked out.

Kinnon raced towards the five guards that stood at the edge of the dock. There was no way that he was getting to that lake without firs getting past the guards that stood in between.

His sword flew up into the air and swiftly came down and collided against the metal of the enemies sword, sliding off one another and then clashing against each other again. The eerie sounds of metal clanging against metal was the only noise that filtered through the air.

A single guard fell to the ground when Kinnon's sword cut off three of his fingers, the next guard dropping dead at his sword sliding across his stomach.

Kinnon spun around as his heart began to beat faster and feaster, his mind praying that he would get to her in time.
