Chapter 15: Wedding preparations

Hi there, I know it's been a while since I last updated this story, but now I'm back and I'm having great ideas for this story and also a little surprise for the end of this story. I would love to tell you what my plan is but you will have to wait till the last chapter of this story will be uploaded, hehehe 😈. Anyway enjoy reading this chapter.

Amy's mother left the infirmary, before Amy could protest once again against the wedding, to tell her husband and Scourge and his parents about Amy's awakening. "What happened?" Amy thought as her mother left the room. The last thing she remembered where Sonic and Amy getting attacked by Scourge and a dragon, anything after that is a blur. "Ugh, why can't I remember and what's about all the talking about Sonic being a traitor." Amy said trying to remember what could have happened but she closed her eyes in pain as she felt quiet dizzy.

The young princess was about to close her eyes again to get some more needed sleep and just rest as suddenly the door to the infirmary room opened again and in came the last person Amy wanted to see. "YOU! What have you done to Sonic? Where is he?" Amy said furious as she saw Scourge walking smirking towards her. "Don't you worry my bride, he's long dead, same as all your little friends who tried to find you." Scourge said as he kept on walking towards her. 

"That was all your doing, am I right." Amy said with tears in her eyes as she backed away from Scourge who knelled down on the bed right next to her. "Well you could say that those idiots were running right into my plan." Scourge said while looking down on Amy. "You are a murderer, if you really think I'm gonna marry you, you are dead wrong." Amy said glaring at the green hedgehog, who was leaning over her. "Actually my dragon was the one killing them and you are gonna marry me." "I AM NOT! I'll tell everyone what you did and then you will be thrown out of our kingdom." Amy shouted. 

"Fine by me, do what you want." Scourge said as he got up from the bed and turned his back to the princess "But who do you think they will believe, their daughter who was hit on the head and could have gotten her memories mixed or the one they thought rescued you." "Y-you will never get through with that." Amy said as tears started running down her face. "Really, then tell me why you started crying just now, maybe because you know I'm right?" Scourge said still smirking as he opened the door. "The wedding will be tomorrow evening, I'll see you there my bride." Scourge said before he finally left the infirmary room.

As soon as Scourge was out of the room Amy started crying even harder and buried her face in the pillow. "That's not fair, why does this have to happen to me?" Amy said as her tears kept running down her face. She then looked up from the pillow as a picture of Sonic came into her mind. "S-Sonic" Amy mumbled as she stood up and walked towards the window. It was nighttime by now and Amy looked up to the sky. "I know your still alive, you can't be dead, I'm sure of it. So please come and get me out of this hell." Amy said as one last tear escaped her eyes.

Meanwhile with Sonic and the others 

"Sonic are you alright." Silver asked worried as Sonic crushed down on his knees while pressing down on the wound on his side. "Y-Yeah, I'm okay. Let's keep going." Sonic hissed in pain as he forced himself to stand back up. "Don't push yourself you idiot. If you are in to much pain let's take a break." Knuckles said as he and the others looked worried at Sonic. "N-no, I don't have time for a break." Sonic said out of breath after making a few steps forward. 

Sonic then stumbled over his own feed, as he was about to take another step, and was about to fall down, but Shadow caught him just in time. "You stubborn idiot, stop trying to convince us that you are fine and let us help you already." Shadow said as he moved Sonic onto his back so he could carry him. "He's right Sonic, we will help getting Amy back." Shade said and the others agreed. "That's right, you better rest so you will be fit for the final battle against Scourge. We will make sure we will get back to the castle in time, don't you worry." Silver said smiling. 

"I guess you are right. Thanks guys." Sonic said smiling. "Nice you see it our way, now we don't have to worry about being late for the wedding, cause you were walking quite slow the last two hours." Knuckles said laughing. "You can say what you want, I'm still faster than you." Sonic said before he fell unconscious because of exhaustion making Silver all worried again. "Calm down Silver, now let's get going so we will make it in time." Shadow said as he lead the way, still with Sonic on his back.

The next day Amy was brought to her room and two maids worked on her quills and make up so she would look lovely for her wedding. "It's so nice to have you back princess, it's such a shame that Rouge and Cream can't be the one doing all this." one of the maids said. "I know right, I heard they went with the knights who were searching for her highness." the second maid said and the first maid hushed her immediately. "Be quiet, we were told not to mention that in front of the princess, you know Scourge said that they are probably all dead." The first maid whispered, thinking that Amy couldn't hear her. 

"You can leave now, I don't need your help anymore." Amy said emotionless as the maids started arguing behind her. "Are you sure princess, you still have to put on your wedding dress." The second maid said snapping out of the discussion with the other maid. "Yeah, don't you need help with putting it on." The first maid said as she too was focused on the princess again. "No, just get out of my room already." Amy said glaring at them. "Very well, congratulations on your wedding your highness." the second maid said as the two maids exited her room.

As the door of her room was closed Amy immediately started crying as she looked at her wedding dress. She then got really angry and started throwing all kind of stuff around her room as she remembered the events of this morning. As she woke up in the infirmary her parents visited her and told her all about the wedding preparations they did the other day as they heard she woke up.

~This morning~

"Good morning Amy dear, have you slept well." the king asked as he saw his daughter awake. "Not really. Dad listen I need to talk with you about something." Amy said and her parents both looked curious at her. "It's about the wedding, I do-" "Don't you worry about the wedding sweetie, I already took care of everything. Scourge's parents already made sure their knights and maids and everyone else of there kingdom would come here and join your weeding." Amy's father said. "But I don-" "And I already took care of your wedding dress. I'm sure you will love it." the queen said also interrupting Amy. 

"WOULD YOU LISTEN TO ME ALREADY!" Amy snapped at her parents who looked surprised at her outburst. "I don't want to marry Scourge, he's a liar and he's the one who killed Sonic and all the others. Sonic was just taking me away from here because I told him to. He isn't a traitor, he's my best friend and I love him. Which means I will not marry that green good for nothing liar." Amy said in tears.

"Amy, don't say such stupid things. Scourge told us what has happened, you really must have hit your head pretty hard somewhere to forget all Scourge did to you." the king said while the queen on the other hand stayed quiet and looked worried at her daughter. "WHY CAN'T YOU BELIEVE ME, I'm your daughter for crying out loud." Amy shouted at her father. "You probably just mistook Sonic with Scourge, after all, they look pretty much alike." Amy's father said as he took his wife's hand and went towards the door. "Mom" Amy said wanting to hear her mothers thoughts about her explanation but before she could answer her father spoke up once more "The wedding will be in 12 hours, make sure you aren't late. Two maids are already waiting for you in your room." the king said before he left the room.
