Stormella

I'm sitting on the couch waiting for my hair to dry while Luke is in the shower. The tv is on, playing Spongebob, but I'm too distracted to watch it.

Luke's words from earlier running through my head.

Maybe they don't darling, but we do. What the fuck is that supposed to mean? We're friends with benefits?

I leaned back, rubbing my face lightly. It was still raining out outside. Thunder rumbling in the sky.

Don't get me wrong, Luke is attractive, and I know we had sex the other day, but friends is all I want to be.

"Lier lier plants for hire." Patrick said on the tv, pulling me from my thoughts.

I shook my head.

Friends.

The door to the bathroom opened and Luke stepped out into the hall. He had a towel wrapped around his lower half.

My eyes were glued onto the part of his body that wasn't covered by a towel.

Fuck.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer." Luke laughed, making my eyes jump to his.

"I'm good." I said, leaning back, acting like I wasn't just drooling over him.

"You better be." He smirked. "I don't have a shirt until mine is dry."

I rolled my eyes.

"Well maybe you shouldn't have pushed us into the pond?" I suggested.

The water had been cold and a little smelly. As soon as we popped up I shoved Luke back under, holding him there for a few. Once he popped back up he splashed me, getting water in my eyes. Before I could get him back, thunder rumbled in the sky, reminding us we should head home.

Luke made his way over to me. Sitting beside me in his towel.

I raised an eyebrow.

"Having no shirt means no pants too, they're all soaked."

"Hey, you had pajamas." I pointed out.

"Yea, my long sleeve shirt and my boxers, which are soaked."

"Put on your shirt then."

Luke laughed loudly.

"You'd rather me walk around in and shirt and no pants or boxers than be in a towel?"

I shook my head, feeling my face heat up a little. He knows what I mean.

"No, put your shirt on and leave your towel on."

"I think I'll stay like this." He smiled, putting his arm around me. "You seem tense."

Luke

Stormella eventually went to her room and got me a pair of pants, and my shirt.

She brought out a pair of Adidas sweat pants.
