I never believed in mythological or magical creatures or anything like that. That is, until I met Hazel. Hazel always beleived in faries and mermaids, even dragons...I could tell when I first met her. We instantly became friends, but she always talked about how those things existed. I would listen to her, but I never really believed her.
"I saw them Miri. I know I did!"
"You're letting your imagination get the best of you. There's no such thing."
Hazel sighed. "I have to go. I'll see you later."
I watched as she walked off, thinking. How can there be little glowing people living in the forest? That's not even possible. What did she call them again? Oh yeah. Lightrines. I sat down, looking at the picture Hazel drew. It was a drawing of the lightrine she had seen. It had long black hair and a dress that looked like it was made of flower petals and leaves. It seemed to have a glow around it.
