Wearing Smiles

"Look at what I'm wearing," I said to somebody while smiling. He looked at me from head to toe then he asked, "Why are you so happy?"

"No I'm not, I'm just wearing this smile. It doesn't mean I'm happy."

"Well then, what's the reason of that smile?" he mused. I smiled wider.

"You'll never know and you'll never understand."

"Why is that?"

I just smiled. He looked curious suddenly.

"My, is it because of me?"

"I don't know," I answered staring at him and still smiling. He looked around and noticed nothing.

"What?" he said, rather impatiently.

"Oh, nothing." I could feel my smile becoming more mischievous as I watch him become more impatient.

"Is it because of your crush?"

"No."

"Money?"

"No."

"Sex?"

"No."

"Relationship? Family"

"No."

"WHAT?"

I just smile at him. He's becoming frustrated now.

"What is it?"

"You'll never understand."

"Why?"

"You can't."

"Why can't?"

"You just can't."

"Why?"

I just smiled.

"Can you please just give me a reason?"

Again, I just smiled. He glared at me and after a few moments, he walked away, grumbling angrily.

Now, I'm really smiling with a reason.
