Pressing the home button on my phone, the screen flashes bright and causes for me to squint. It's never a good idea to keep your phone on full brightness while lying in the pitch, black dark.
What could Travis possibly want? It must be something sketchy if he wants to meet at 12... I don't know. I'm excited but anxious at the same time. Something about Travis just makes me, happy? Feel different?
I slid on a pair of sweatpants over my biker shorts even though its about 70 degrees outside and then grab my keys and phone. I ease down the stairs knowing that my parents are asleep, but a drop of a penny would send my dad into my room with a shotgun shouting, "Rocky! Are you alright?!"
The stairs start to creak as I took each step with caution and finally made it to the bottom step. I unlock the front door and step out into the muggy and hot air quickly regretting the choice of wearing sweatpants.
"Hey, Rocky." Travis appears from the side of my house and onto the porch. He leans in for a hug, but I just stand there and allow for him to embrace me with my arms crossed across my chest.
"What's up?" I ask.
"Can we take a walk?
"Uhh..." I glance back towards my front door and then back at him. The light from the porch highlights his black hair making it seem almost electric. "I guess, but not for too long. I don't need for my parents to worry about me."
"Just 15 minutes, please? I would like to get to know you," he holds out his right hand and gestures for me to take it with mine. Shrugging it off, I just slap his away and walk in front of him as I hear his laughter behind me.
After about a minute of awkward silence, he decides to speak up.
"So, Rocky, how old are you?"
Is he serious?
"16, but I'll be turning 17 in a couple of weeks."
"Cool, I'm 17. My birthday was in July. Are you not hot in those sweatpants?"
"Nah...well, yeah. I had on like, really short shorts."
"Oh I see. Don't want for me to see your goods."
I shoot him a look and then smile knowing that that's the truth. He throws his arm around my shoulder and pulls me into his side. I just wrap my arm around his back and then we continue down the sidewalk.
"Where are we going?" I ask.
"No where speacial. Just walking. So, I heard you dance."
"Yeah how'd you know?"
"Dean told me. Well, he was talking to our mom about you and I just so happened to hear."
I blush just thinking about it. Dean talked about me.
"What are you smiling about?" Travis asks.
"Oh, nothing," I lie.
"I bet Dean wouldn't be able to make you feel how I could."
All of a sudden, Travis pushses me against a red brick wall and covers me with his body.
"Travis?! What are you-"
"Shh..." he places a finger over my lips. He then mashes his lips with mine and I was in total shock. I wanted to push him off of me, but the other part of me didn't. Travis starts to move his lips to my neck and I let out a moan.
"You like that, don't you?" he whispers into my ear and then retreats back to kissing my neck.
"Mhmm.." I manage to say.
My skin starts to get chills and his hands start to caress my back. His lips leave mine and an emotion of anger comes over me. I. Want. More.
"Be mine," he says.
"What? I can't."
He starts to trace a finger down the front of my tank top and then down to my sweatpants. His finger plucks and toys with the rim of my sweatpants and my knees start to cross.
"Be mine," he says again.
He gives me a quick peck on the lips and slides a finger down into my sweatpants and then his whole entire hand into my biker shorts.
"This is mine," he says.
I'm sorry about this short chapter and for me being M.I.A for a while. School and volleyball practice has really kept me busy. Hopefully, I will be able to crank out a few more chapters of 'Specks' and 'How to: Flirtationship' this weekend :) xoxoChrissy.
