She ran in behind me. I introduced her to all my friends then realized that she might get lost in such a big crowd so I dragged her outside.
“Toby, what are we doing out here?” I put my darkness, redness, whiteness bracelet on her wrist.
“If you get lost contact me, here give me your phone” I put my number and called it then saved the contact. “Alright, now I feel more secure”
“Toby, I can take care of myself!” she claimed. I looked at her and laughed. “Okay, sometimes I do need help”
“Let’s just go…” We went inside the house. We kept talking with all these people and I made sure she was by my side but then…
“Hey Lindsey we should-” I turned to see she wasn’t beside me. Oh no, where’d she go? I panicked and looked all around. My friend Sean stopped me.
“Hey, are you okay?”
“I- I lost my friend” I stuttered.
“Oh you mean Lindsey, right? I saw her stumbling around drunk as hell” he said as he took a sip of his beverage. I grabbed him and shook him violently.
“WHAT!? Where’d she go?” He pointed to the right.
“She went that way” I let go of him and ran the direction he told me. I found her giving this one guy a lap dance. I face palmed. Every single person in the crowd was cheering her on. I interfered and pulled her off him.
“Hey, what the hell? I was doing a good job!” she yelled.
“Yeah she was…” he told her. She giggled.
“You don’t know what you’re doing! Shut up…” I dragged her out of there and forced her to get in my car to take her home. When we were finally at my house she looked at me with a frown.
“I’m sorry Toby” I looked at her wrist and she was still wearing my bracelet.
“It’s okay… come on you need to rest” I took her inside and put her in bed. She held onto me.
“Stay here with me, I’m scared” I looked at her strangely then lied down next to her. We fell asleep. At around midnight I woke up to vlog. I was so exhausted I don’t even remember what I said. I just remember that when I got into bed I wrapped myself around her.
The next morning I woke up to someone crying. I got up and looked around to see where it was coming from. I found Lindsey crying in the tub in the bathroom.
“What are you doing? Get out of there” I picked her up and dragged her out of the restroom. I put her down.
“I- I woke up this morning and I- I remembered what happened last night. I’m so stupid!!” she yelled. I frowned.
“Oh, come here” I pulled her into a hug and she just sobbed and sobbed. I held her for the longest time but I didn’t mind. I told her that if she ever needed someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on that I’m here so, I’m going to stick with it. When her sobs finally faded away she backed away and looked at me. Her face was really red from all the crying and her tears were all over the place. “Feeling better”
“Way better. Thanks for putting up with my tears. Now, I’m going to go home and change because I look like a mess ugh!” she laughed and I laughed with her. She left and I decided to take a shower. I wrapped the towel around my waist and messed with my hair as I walked to my room to find a nicely dressed girl sitting on my bed. She gasped then laughed.
