All I could see was white. White was everywhere. Being flown around the room like a paper airplane in class. White dresses, white flowers, white table clothes, white ribbons. You name it. It was all fucking white! And accents of blue, red, and black. Those were their colors they had chosen. I was watching my dad getting dressed. His tux was gray, a white collared shirt beneath the jacket, a single white rose in the pocket, his hair slicked back making him look snazzy. He wore brown leather shoes on his feet and a giant smile graced his face but I could clearly see the nerves etched into the creases of his forehead.
I walked in slowly and his blue eyes met mine. "You look handsome." I smiled, biting my lip, trying not to cry. My dad was getting married. Married! To say I was ecstatic and bewildered would be an understatement. I know I said I never wanted another mother but technically Harry isn't a mother...he's a dad. Just like Louis. And he kinda already was like one. So there wouldn't be much change. I liked it like that. We could just be one big happy family.
The forbidden love that finally became an open reality after eight years! Probably the best love story ever told in the history of all romances. They should make a movie about this. This story is worth telling. Not Titanic or The Notebook. But Larry.
"You look beautiful, flower girl." Louis smirked at the nickname and I rolled my eyes. Yes, they had established me as their 'flower girl'. I wanted to be a bridesmaid but no, I had to be the fucking flower girl! Lux and Theo were the ring barrers, Sophia, Perrie, Jesy, Jade, and Leigh Anne were the bridesmaids. Zayn, Liam, Niall, Stan, and Ed were the groomsmen. We didn't have a best man or maid of honor. Simon was marrying them.
Eleanor, Louis and I's family, Harry's family, Liam, Niall, and Zayn's family were all there. Lou and the rest of their old stylists were there too. A bunch of old friends from their hometown and 5SOS were as well. It was small but going to be great. I could feel it.
"Why'd you have to make me the flower girl? I'm fucking eighteen, Lou!" I protest, crossing my arms and sticking my tongue out at him. He chuckles, patting my head lghtly.
"Because, Lil Tommo, you're my daughter and I knew you'd hate it." He smiles wickedly. "Therefore I made you it."
"You're a devil, Tomlinson."
That's when Jay bursts through the door with tears in her eyes and she keeps wiping them away with her thumb and rushes over to pull her son in a tight hug. I watch with a small fond smile on my lips.
"I just can't believe my Boobear is getting married! You and Harry are soul mates so don't fuck this up, okay? If you do I'll kick your arse." Jay threatens and I burst out laughing. Louis rolls his eyes and kisses his mums cheek.
"I won't mess it up, Mum!" He argues.
"Keep telling yourself that..." She mumbles and he gapes at her with a sassy scoff escaping his thin pink lips. I supress a laugh before Jay comes bounding towards me and wraps me in a huge hug.
I smile into her, taking in the love. I've always loved Jay. She's my grandmum and she's so sweet and funny it hurts. She's a lot like Louis in so many ways. Growing up without a dad must've been so hard for Lou...since I grew up with practically six. My real one before he died, Louis, and the rest of the boys. I can't imagine what Louis went through. Without a male role model in the house for a few years until Mark came along and now Dan. I think Louis hides his emotion deep inside but he wants to scream out until his throat runs dry.
