"Mahal kita." Panimula ni Grey nang magkita sila ni Lily.
"I love you too."
"God, hindi pa ba tapos? Hindi pa ba natin napapatunayan na karapat-dapat tayo para sa isa't isa?"
Ngumiti si Lily, "Alam Niya, Grey. He knows how much we wanted this, pero hindi pa sa ngayon."
"We,'ve been through so much, baby. Hindi ko na kakayanin kapag naghiwalay pa tayo."
Lily hugged Greyson. "We're not gonna break up, Grey. I'm gonna let you be with your mother. I want you you to be there for her."
"No," Ani Grey. "Wanting me beside my mom means I'll be gone for I don't know how long."
"I know, pero she needs you Grey. Your family needs you."
"But I need you."
"We have to fix ourselves, Grey." Ani Lily. "Kahit gaano pa natin kagustong magstay sa kung anong meron tayo, we have to let go."
Humiwalay sa yakap si Grey, "Why are you doing this? Is it because my mother's sick?"
Dahan dahan umiling si Lily, "Hindi.. it's because our love damaged everything we have."
Umiling si Grey, "That's not true."
"It is. Can't you see? You don't want to go with your mother, wherein fact, she needed you more than I do."
"Pero hindi 'yung pagsama ko ang makakagamot sa kanya, Lily."
"Pero isa 'yun sa factor kung bakit siya nagsakripisyo." Ani Lily. "Tita doesn't want you to know dahil alam niyang hindi mo ako kayang iwanan. And the fact na hindi mo alam ay ayaw niyang pumunta ng America."
"No... she wants to tell me. She wants me na malaman ang lahat bago siya pumuntang America.."
"Because she's trying if you can come with her."
"I can't, Lily." Ani Grey at bumuhos ang luha niya. "My life's here. Nandito ka."
Pinunasan ni Lily ang mga luha ni Grey. She can't stand seeing his man crying infront of her.
"Wag mo naman akong iwanan.."
"Hindi naman kita iiwanan, we just have to heal the wounds of the past." Ani Lily. "Mahal natin ng sobra ang isa't isa, na nakakasama na sa atin."
"Lily naman.."
"I understand you, Grey.. I understand kung bakit ayaw mo umalis, kahit ako, ayaw ko sanang umalis ka... pero eto 'yung dapat nating gawin." Huminga ng malalim si Lily. "Masakit sa akin na pakawalan ka ulit, pero kailangan kong gawin kasi mahal kita."
Greyson pulled Lily and hugged her tightly. They both cried not knowing how broken they were.
"We're a mess, Grey. Itanggi man natin o hindi, we were almost half there. But, as they say, almost is never enough."
