She wanted peace,
She wanted importance.
She wanted love.
She wanted respect

But she'd never say it out loud
Because she was afraid
To be called an attention seeker
To be called a wannabe

Little did she know,
All her peace lied in loving
Loving herself and fighting her demons
Uplifting herself, respecting herself

She was supposed to be her own hero
Because princes and heroes are overrated
She was supposed to be her own strength
And her own power.
