Chapter 41

Rosé POV

When the sun had risen and I woke up, I checked the news and there it was. The announcement about Jennie and Kai dating. SM Entertainment had already confirmed immediately but YG had not yet given any feedback.

My phone buzzes, it was a call from Jisoo.

"Chaeng, Yang is calling for all four us. We need to go to his office immediately. Can you and Lisa be there in an hour?" Her voice was hoarse, I knew she had been crying.

"Okay unnie, we'll be there."

"Okay, see you Pasta."

"Jisoo unnie." I call out her name.

"Yeah?"

"How are you feeling?"

"It hurts Chaeng. I hate everything that's happening. I don't wanna see her be this hurt. She doesn't deserve this. I know we're idols but we're human too and we all deserve to have privacy and happiness in life."

"You're right, she doesn't deserve being outed like this. No one does but the world isn't as kind as we want it to2. Let's be strong for her unnie and give her the support that she needs. Let's be her strength during this time. I'll be your strength too unnie."

"We'll be each other's strength." She repeats.

We said our goodbyes and I wake Lisa up and tell her we need to be in Sajangnim's office in an hour. We quickly ready ourselves and left the house.

We arrive at the YG building and went to the practice room we always use. I see Jennie and Jisoo hugging each other, they were both crying. On normal days or even on special occassions it's very unlikely to see Jisoo cry, and yet she's crying now. She's definitely really hurting and worried for Jennie.

Lisa and I join in the hug and soon all four of us were crying. What do I expect me and Lisa are crybabies of course we would cry if we see our unnies crying.

After minutes of crying and hugging each other, we strengthened our resolve and went to Sajangnim's office walking hand in hand refusing to let go of each other.

We went inside his office and see Sajangnim with a stern look on his face. He definitely wasn't happy with the news. We took our seats and he started asking his question.

"Jennie, how could you be this stupid? You should have informed us fron the start so you wouldn't have gotten into this mess. Now tell me, is it true and how long has this been going on?"

Jennie was trying to speak but no words come out of her mouth. I see Jisoo softly rubbing her thumbs on Jennie's fingers to calm her. She gives Jennie an encouraging nod which prompts Jennie to speak.

"It's true Sajangnim, we've been seeing each other since October. I, I'm sorry. I didn't think we would get caught, I didn't think of the consequences it would bring. Please don't punish the girls, it was all me they didn't know anything about me and Kai."

My eyes widen at her words. We were supposed to be all in this together but she's putting it all on her only.

"No, that's not true. I knew about it." I say quickly.

Lisa and Jisoo also quickly said they knew about it too.

Sajangnim groans in frustration and his eyes are furrowed.

"We will confirm that you two are indeed dating and take the same position as SM Entertainment but I am not going to stand by this and allow it to continue. You are still under a dating ban, if I just allow you then the rules would have no meaning and more and more idols and trainees won't follow the YG rules. Jennie end this relationship with Kai, that's all I ask. If after the dating ban you still want to be with him then by all means go ahead but for now we will announce a few weeks from now that you have broken up due to the busy schedules. This year you indeed be very busy with work and a relationship will just be a disadvantage for you, you know that the fans don't accept their idols dating easily."

"That's it?" We all ask.

"Oh and no posting on instagram for the next few days. You may post on Jisoo's birthday but that's it."

We all look at him in shock.

"Why are you all giving me shocked faces? Are you expecting me to kick her out or suspend her or punish her?"

We all nod our heads in unison. He chuckles softly and answers the questions inside our heads.

"I'm not as mean as you make me out to be. I know I am not the best out there and I may be lacking in managing you but believe me when I say that I do want what's best for you. Not everything works out the way I want it to be and so it seems like I am not treating you well. I will only lose if I make Jennie leave YG. All four of you are starting to be known around the world and I have plans to take you to the top. All I ask is for you to do your best and to follow the rules and you can do whatever you want. If you decide you want to break some of them please tell me so we can see if we can work things out and allow them."

We all look at him with shocked expressions on our faces. This was not what we were expecting at all.

I am worried about Jennie though because Sajangnim asked hin to break up with Kai, she must be really sad about it. I look at Jennie and to my surprise she isn't sad at all she's even starting to smile.

We all left the office and Jennie immediately wraps all of us into a hug.

"I love you girls!" She says.

We all hug it out and decided to go back to the dorms. When we got home we all settled down getting ready to watch Frozen, Lisa's favorite. But things don't go as planned because Jisoo finds Jennie breaking down crying again.

Jennie is being criticized and bashed online. Once again she gets hurt by all these things. We comfort her and we all made a promise not to go online for the next few days with Jisoo's birthday as an exception.

Days pass and we started to be busy with shooting the CF for Paradise City and practicing for the upcoming world tour. It was a good distraction for Jennie. She was starting to go back to her old self, smiling her gummy smile and being a huge softie who always makes me laugh. She was finally moving forward and not minding all the hate she got. She was now looking at the bright side of things which made all of us happy and proud of her. She really had it tough this past few days. But hopefully the concert with Blinks who love her with all their hearts will cheer her up more and out a smile on her face.

A/N: Not sure if you guys are gonna like this because Yang seems nice here. I know he's really lacking in many many ways because of the mistreatments that BP gets but I'd like to think that one day he'd wake up and realize his mistakes and treat BP the way they deserve to be treated.

This is also a meh chapter for me. Next chapter will be about Jensoo.
