Brooke and I woke up at six o'clock, leaving us with only four hours of sleep. Yay us, right? No, we were both very crabby and exhausted. I'm surprised we didn't fall asleep again throughout the day.
Liam woke us both up and made us shower, since we were covered in popcorn butter and sticky from the whipped cream. Also, our hair was a mess. It looked like a rat had been living in them.
We both showered, and I decided to go with another lazy day. I changed into sweatpants and a gray sweatshirt that had a wolf on it. I threw my hair up in a ponytail, not feeling like putting it in a bun or leaving it down, and put on my converse. Gorgeous, right?
Brooke dressed similarly, only her hair was in a bun not in a ponytail. Overachiever.
"You two are going to love me forever," Liam said as we got into his car.
"Why?" I asked, rubbing the tiredness from my eyes.
"Because I made you guys coffee," he said and handed us two frappes. "Caramel and sweet, just as you two like."
"You're the best!" Brooke said, grabbing her coffee.
"I'd marry you, but I love the coffee more!" I teased, kissing my coffee and taking a large drink of it.
Liam laughed. "I know, I'm amazing. No need to remind me."
He drove us to school, Brooke and I savoring the taste of our coffee. In case you haven't noticed, we love coffee. It's the best thing in this world. We drink it all the time, while Liam just drinks coffee every now and then. He's a loser like that.
We got to school, and Liam had to bribe us out of the car with more coffee, as we finished ours in the car.
"I made enough to last you two the whole day," he said. "I thought ahead when I saw you two were still up at midnight watching Modern Family."
"It's so addictive," I said, my eyes wide. "Once you start watching it, you can't stop. And it was a marathon."
"Six episodes," Brooke said. "Six episodes of Modern Family we had to watch."
Liam smiled. "You were the ones who wanted to watch it."
"You don't understand," I said. "It's Modern Family. We have to watch it! I mean, there's Gloria and Phil, and Haley, and everyone else! We can't just stop watching it! It would be like ignoring a call from Jesus!"
"Really?" Liam asked, raising an eyebrow. "You're comparing Modern Family to Jesus?"
"Whatever it takes for you to understand," Brooke said.
Liam laughed. "You two are messed up."
"You hang out with us," I reminded.
"True," he said. "But do I have a choice?"
"You could," Brooke said. "But then you'd miss us too much and come back to us."
"You're probably right," Liam agreed.
"I am right," Brooke said. "I'm always right."
"Actually, that's me," I said.
"Shut up," she said.
I grinned and drank my coffee. This was really good coffee. You should try it some time. Kidding, it's mine. Back off.
The bell rang for us to go to our lockers, but we walked into our first hour class since we already had all our stuff. Weirdly, instead of the usual classroom, all the desks were pushed back so there was a huge ring in the middle. And there just happened to be a karaoke machine in the back of the classroom.
