I Was Walking Alone...

62 24 13

I was walking alone alongside a trench so deep,

It could powder my bones.

Then someone came out of nothing,

Straight at me!

I'm trying, I'm trying so hard not to stumble,

Not break into sweat.

The monster can smell fear it seems,

Oh, it ain't the best kind of day.

I trip, I fall into a rabbit hole, find myself in wonderland.

I call your name but you're gone. Gone!

Ooh, I scream, I scream, I scream but no one hears a thing!

I dip in quicksand. I'm gone.

I am walking alone alongside a trench only you know.

Midway you disappear,

Leaving me in the lurch,

Baby!
