The red gown suited her well. She looked so beautiful It had to be a sin to be that beautiful. I fought back against my manly natural to remember how she looked underneath. Her undergarments left me breathless, losing all control a man should have due to the vision of it.

I attempted to erase those thoughts of her, but another came. And I too became weak like Samson when it came down to her. It wasn't godly like nor a right to think such thoughts. Yes, she was mine by paper but not in the eyes of God just yet.

The entire car ride was torture I tried to focus on driving, but my mind kept going back to her. She was silently glancing through the places that passed as we drove. She does not know how much power she has over me that makes me afraid of what she could do with such power. My previous love had my heart, body, and soul betrayed me in such a way that I swore never to trust nor commit to anybody. Who knew Linda would be the one that makes me reconsider all that vowed never to do.

"If you want to leave early, let me know okay?" I say to her as we arrived.

She agreed. "O-okay, I will."

The fact that she doesn't try to show off her beauty and shy way makes her more beautiful. The fact that she doesn't try to show off her beauty and shy way makes her more attractive.

We stayed in the car for awhile. No one said anything, but I can tell that she is worried.

I don't get why she nervous. She has no reason to be because I know that everyone would love her just as much as I love--

My hands shield my mouth and I stopped myself in time from saying the most special word that I haven't utter to anyone other than my family and my ex-girlfriend... Emma. Wait a minute. I tried to convince myself.

It's true that I've known Linda for over a year. My hands went through my hair. Maybe I did love her? Do I like her or is the false marriage getting over my head?

I never thought much of it previously as Ted had said I have a soft spot for her. When she had worked for me I couldn't help to watch her cook for me and then she shies away when she notices me.

My eyes went back to her again.

She licks her bottom lip and bites them. I went with my instincts and kissed her. She responds back by luring me near her. She tasted like heaven and earth, and I didn't want to depart from her.

Whatever I feel about her, I hope she feels it. And I won't say anything until I am sure that she does.

Then she nuzzles my combed hair with her hands. We heard a knock on the car window.

"Hey, lovebirds are you two gonna come inside or what," Ted asked with a woman secured in his arms.

We peered through the fogging window and Linda quickly withdraws herself from me then stares at her feet. I held her hand, gently which makes her blush even more.

I smiled. She really is one a kind.

I looked the woman next to him. Probably, a new lover because he is not a believer in long-term relationships.

I got out first to open the door for her as she got out the car to the ballroom. Ted and the woman beside him see the love marks on Linda's back.

"Andrew, you dog!" Ted high fives me.

Linda mortified by his statements about the love bites that she covers her face with her hand in shame.

"I'm sure, no one will notice it," I chuckled, keeping her at ease.
