I was arguing with Liam when my phone rang. I ignored it, focused on making Liam see that Family Guy was way better than Spongebob. I mean, come on! Who doesn't love Stewie? Crazy people, that's who!

"You just like Stewie because he's evil," Liam said.

"And you just like Patrick because he's dumb!" I said.

"So? Dumb beats evil!"

"Yeah, but Stewie could totally kill Patrick with one try, and Patrick would be too stupid to try and kill Stewie as well."

My phone rang again, and I ignored it.

"But Patrick would walk to the Krusty Krab while Stewie is giving his evil speech and get away," Liam pointed out.

"Yes, but Stewie would expect that and set a bomb up at the Krusty Krab," I said.

My phone rang yet again.

"This is stupid," he said. "We're arguing about cartoon characters."

"You started it," I said.

"You said Patrick was better than Stewie, and I disagreed. Stewie is the bomb."

"Metaphorically or physically?"

I punched him lightly in the arm. "You know what I mean."

Liam laughed. "I don't know, you were pretty unclear."

My phone rang again, and I heard Brooke yell, "Answer it or I will! I'm tired of hearing it ring!"

"Fine!" I yelled and answered my phone. "What do you want?"

"Hayley," said Drew Davis, Brooke's dad.

"Yeah?" I said. "What's going on?"

"You need to come to the pack house right now," he said.

"Why?" I asked. "Is something wrong?"

"No, we just need you here."

"Can't Kelly or Tristan take care of it?"

"It involves you. And bring my daughter and Liam with you. This could affect them as well."

I sat up straighter. "It's not about an attack, is it? Because if Midnight Moon attacks-"

"It's not an attack," Drew said. "Just, come here. Please."

He hung up. I looked at my phone, then at Liam, knowing he heard what Drew said.

"What should we do?" Liam asked.

I shrugged. "I guess we go to the pack house. It must be important if Drew had to call. He usually calls Brooke to check up. I'm surprised he even has my number."

"Your mom must have given it to him," Liam said. "I'll get Brooke."

I nodded and sat there as Liam went to get Brooke. Why was I needed at the pack house? Tristan never wants to talk to me, not unless it involves the whole pack. And sadly, I'm part of the whole pack. But what caught my attention was that he said to bring Brooke and Liam. I always bring them with me, but the fact that he told me to bring them made me worried. Something serious was going on.

Brooke came down and looked at me. "What's going on?" she asked.

"We're needed at the pack house," I said. "You dad called and said we need to meet there. It's something important."

"An attack?" she asked.

I shook my head. "No, but I have a feeling it's along those lines."

"Let's go then," she said.
