My vision becomes a little blurry with salty tears. One escapes my eye and Declan takes his thumb and rubs it off. He takes my hand and leads me down the stairs and out to his vehicle.

I have no idea where we're going but I don't want to ask. I'm still stunned about what Declan said. We have been driving for a little over a hour in with the low buzz of the radio. Most of the drive has had the same pine tree scenery. Not that I'm complaining I love the woods when I don't have bad dreams about them.

"Why are you so quiet." Declan asks softly.

I fold my hands on my lap. "I don't know, just thinking I guess."

Declan nods his head and I now I'm a bit curious is to where we're going. "Where are we going." I finally ask.

Declan grins over at me "You'll see when we get there."

"Fine." I scuff playfully and look back out the window. "Are you giving me attitude lil' one?"Declan asks. I look over at him with a curious look. What did he just ask? I know Declan is unpredictable but I didn't expect him to ask that.

"W-what no." I say quickly with a blush making its way up my neck to my cheeks. Declan's notices and grins with a sparkle in his vivid green eyes.

He reaches over the center council and puts his hand that he's not using to drive on my thigh. He looks into my eyes and says "You most definitely were."

My thigh is tingling where his hand is and I can't help but stare at it. I'm so hot right now I think I'm about to start dripping sweat. Declan looks amused at my reaction. He acts so unfazed by it like it's natural. I on the other hand am acting like a skirmish child.

I look back out the window trying to forget about Declan's hand on my thigh. I think he decided to give me a break since he's not teasing me anymore. He must know I'm nervous as is.

When I finally get my thoughts back under control and am back to reality, I notice we're now driving through a cute town. The houses are all decent sized and look clean and well picked up. Two minutes go by of us driving in this town when Declan pulls into a drive way of a white House with a big oak porch. It's the perfect ranch style home.

"Who's house is this?" I ask curiously.

Declan ignores the question and then steps out of the car. "Come on."

So I do what he says and I get out of the car and walk up the the little side walk to the oak porch. We reach the door and Declan knocks. After about ten seconds the door opens to a lady who looks like she is in her late thirties. She has mid length black hair and bright blue eyes, she was beautiful.

"Declan." She says then looks at me. "Who do we have here." Her lips quirk up into a sincere smile, I smile back.

"This is Ella." Declan says smoothly.

She walks up to me and pulls be into a hug. It takes me a minute to realize what's happening before I hug her back. "It's nice to meet you Ella."

"It's nice to meet you as well." I'm not really a hugging person but I didn't want to make it awkward. Declan leans over and whispers in my ear. "Don't worry she must like you if she hugged you." He says huskily. We walk into the house while the lady who greeted us walks down the hall.

"Who is she?" I ask quietly. I know they have similar features but she didn't really look like his mother.  "My aunt." He reply's simply.

Before I can respond back a little girl who looks to be about five come running towards us. Her curly black hair is is bouncing behind her and her bright blue eyes are sparking. She's wearing a yellow t-shirt with overalls. She runs right up to Declan and jumps in his arms. I was in awe when Declan picked her up and spun her around.

"Decwen, your back." The little girl chirps.

"I am, and I brought someone special with me." Declan whispers into her ear.

Declan just called me special. He thinks I'm special? For a second I just stare at him. I don't know why but his opinion matters so much to me. He has his way with words.

She takes in what he says and looks around until her eyes land on me. I smile and wave to her. She hugs Declan closer to her and whispers back into his ear something I can't comprehend.

Declan walks over to me with the little girl in his arms. "Riley this is Ella."

Riley looks at me and then looks back at Declan. "She's so pwetty." I look at Declan and then back at Riley, she's adorable.

"I know." Declan says back to her. He lets her down and she comes over to me and engulfs her little arms around me. I put a arm around her and whisper into here ear. "You very pretty to." Her rosy cheeks turn a shade darker.

"Thank you." I smile at her.

"I think we're going to be good friends." I say.

Declan smiles at the both of us. "Riley is my little sister."

"She's beautiful." I tell Declan in all honesty.

"I know, so are you." A blush rises to my cheeks and Declan smirks. I look down at a smiling Riley. She takes my hand in hers and says "Want to pway?"I nod my head and she leads me out a back door and into the yard behind her house.

She brings me all the way to the trampoline to jump with her. So I get on with her and we jump. Her giggle is infectious so I laugh along with her. Declan joins us and we play tickle monster and popcorn. Riley runs around the trampoline when Declan catches her and tickles her.

"Stop, stop." Riley giggles squirming around.

"I can't hear you." He taunts. Declan looks so happy, his eyes light up spending time with Riley. I get butterfly's in my stomach watching them, he's so good with her.

After we're done on the trampoline we run around and play hide and go seek. Declan's aunt brings us out lunch. We sit at the picnic table and and eat our sandwiches with fruit. I had no idea Declan had a little sister, he must not tell a lot of people. But I wonder why she lives with their aunt. I realize I know like nothing about Declan.

After we're done eating Riley wants to go inside and watch her favorite movie which is Cinderella. We settle in on the living room couch and Riley snuggles between me and Declan. She rest her head on Declan's lap and her feet on mine. About thirty minutes into the movie Riley falls asleep. Declan gently stands up and puts Riley's head under a pillow and covers her up. I stand up to and he tells me he's going to tell his aunt he's going to head out.

I wait for Declan at the front door of the house. When he comes out from telling his aunt we walk out to the car in silence. When we get in I don't know whether to ask questions or not but I decide I can't help it and want to know.

"I didn't know you had a little sister."

"I don't really tell many people about her." Declan says.

"She's wonderful, how old is she?" I ask curiously.

"Five." I nod my head and he turns on the car and pulls out of the drive way. We sit quietly for a little while.
