The young girl walked down the steps into the cave with a dreamy expression, and white paint all over her body even in her hair. Dwayne quickly stood and walked over to her grabbing her arms and making her look up at him.
"Where were you we were looking all over for you. Did you go out painting again?" She nodded and smiled grabbing his hand and gently pulling him towards the steps to lead him to her latest piece.
"Where did you paint it?" He followed behind her, letting her lead him wherever she wanted to take him.
"The sign." She walked along the sand barefoot not caring about any glass or sharp rocks that were there. He should've known. The sign had always been her favourite place to paint.
Once they arrived at the sign Dwayne stopped moving completely. She had painted the words 'no future' in big bold white letters.
Y/n had always painted what she felt, it was just who she was. Did she really feel she had no future?
