Amber's POV
I was worried about Maddie.
My new best friend already got hurt and I haven't even known her for 7 hours.
We went back to Luke's house and I couldn't help but let my mind wander to a boy I saw today.
He had curly dirty blond hair,hazelish eyes but he wasn't smiling.
I was gonna tell Maddie about him but well..you know.
Speaking of Maddie I was currently sitting beside her while she was passed out but she had this look on her face..like she was..scared.
I looked at Luke and raised an eyebrow.
"So..um are you gonna tell me what's going on?" I asked
He sighed.
"Ok..here we go."
And with that he explained all of it and by the end I was crying.

Maddie's POV
Darkness.
That's all I could see.
Wait..is that..my father?!
I tried to back up but it was like there was a wall behind me.
He kept walking closer until he was about 3 feet away.
"You will never escape me" he said
And the last thing I remember is me shooting up laying on Luke's couch with Amber on my left and Luke on my right.
