A white crayon
used only once then gone
for one's color of vibrant highlights
its final form - that beautiful hindsight.
For only a solitary
from the ordinary
that not always an artist's option
and that a brief proportion.
Yet only a thought
because it is carefully wrought
and used wisely
by only a few artists for their artistry.
Artists have a particular domain
some colors used or to be used and remain
but neither is not ineffectual
for in different categories - are all effectual.
This not only be a white crayon's importance
nor its purpose - is brought to advertence
white is just one of many
one of many of more even plenty.
Not a race for who is the best
but to be equal from all the rest.
