(Took some inspiration from the Tyrion and Cersei scene from season 2)
"Come with me!" I whispered. She hesitated with fear displayed all over her face. "Do you want to live?" My voice cracked but seemed to break her out of her trance and I grab her hand to help her through the tunnels to the outdoors.
More and more men were ramming at different doors into her house. We ran through the darkness and she almost fell repeatedly.
At one point, she grabbed the knife from my hilt and began to hack at her dress to make it more free to move in. I watched as she did this and I felt a blush come to my cheeks.
She handed the knife back over and I put it in its hilt and grabbed her hand again to help her out.
We got out of the tunnels and bolted for the wooded area. Once we were out of sight of everyone, we slowed to a stop to catch our breath. "I think it's okay now." I huffed.
She nodded, staring off at her home being raided. I noticed tears streaming down her cheeks so I hold her face in my hands, "You can cry for them now by you need to get through this." I wipe the tears from her cheeks with my thumb. "You're safe now. We can go to Riverrun together and you can work there and I can keep an eye on you. We will be safe there."
After she calmed down we begin walking to the nearest inn. Once inside, we realize there is only one bed. "You can have it," I say as I begin to undo my shirt. She nods and goes into the bathroom and gets changed into new clothes that were left by the last guest.
She came back out and stood next to me. "Petyr?" I turn around, looking at her expectingly. "I want to give you something."
Looking down to her since I am taller by a couple of inches, I say, "What is it?"
She places a napkin into my hand and I unfold it. In the napkin is a mockingbird pin. "This was yours, Y/N. Why are you giving it to me?"
"Because I can't go to Riverrun with you." She states. I try to stop her but she overrides what I am saying. "I have to go to family up North. I don't belong with the Tullys, you do." I nod.
"Can you still at least stay the night with me?" I close my hand around the pin. She nods and I bring her closer to me into a hug. I cradle her head as she holds me tighter, "If need be, come to me. I'll keep you safe, I promise."
I pin the mockingbird pin to my overcoat and stare at it in the mirror for a few seconds. I walk out of my room and walk throughout the castle, watching everything.
Cersei approaches me at one point early in the morning with her guards while I was in the middle of my planning. "Lord Baelish. May I speak with you for a moment?"
"Of course, Your Majesty." I stand to follow her and we begin to walk through the halls. Her guards are behind us and they continue to get closer and closer to me. She opens the door of her room. "What would you like from me, my Queen?"
She walks to the table as two of her guards close the door behind me. I try to think about what she could need of me this early. She pours herself a glass of wine and turns back to me as she sits and then gestures for me to sit. I slowly oblige. "I want your loyalty."
"You already have it, my Queen." I force a chuckle. I raise my hands to show that I'm not a threat and that my loyalty was right in front of her. She tilts her head.
"I don't believe I do. I guess you have forgotten, I have spies as well. I knew you tried to trick me with Eddard Stark while he was alive. Who knows what else you have done." She sips and I try not to look uncomfortable.
