Honestly, I'm on my phone too much. Usually it's because I'm bored and I'm just mindlessly scrolling through Instagram or flipping through people's Snapchat stories. It's a big waste of time and I could be using that time doing other, more important things.
Here are some good reasons/motivation to put your phone down:
- more free time
- decreased anxiety
- less comparing (this reason is huge for me).
- increased productivity (more time to do useful stuff).
- enhanced awareness
- personal growth
- better sleep (important!!)
- you'll feel more relaxed
- you'll feel happier :)
