Clary And Jace(A Misunderstanding)

Chapter 8-Jace

It was around 12pm so everyone was at home

Clary POV

After 16 years I finally came back
I knew Scarlett would portal herself here

I was scared to face the people I left behind but mostly I was scared of facing Jace

Jake must have noticed how I was feeling as he lightly squeezed my hand

We interlocked our fingers and walked. We reached the library and once I walked in I looked at my family I left behind Marsye had little grey in her hair and Robert also was the same

They were sitting and having a conversation and Alec and Magnus where reading something

I saw Simone with a mini version of izzy and a boy about 12 running around he looked like Simone

There was a lot of chit chat and noise I mean have these people not heard you suppose to be quite in a library

Izzy voice bombed above the noise. She has always been loud and I guess things don't change

Izzy"Hey everyone looks who came to visit"

Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at me. Their eyes widened and Alec was the first one that rushed up to me and hugged me

Alec"Clary it's been ages since I saw you. I mean I brother made a mistake why did we suffer?"

Magnus"Biscuit!!!"

He ran over and pushed Alec out of the way before hugging me

When he was done I had glitter everywhere

Marsye and Robert also hugged me

And said" it's good to see you Clary it's been too long"

The two children hid behind izzy

One asked"Mum who is she?"

Izzy"This is your aunty Clary"

The boy asked"The one you told us about?"

She nodded her head and the boy came up to me

The boy"It's nice to finally meet you my mum and dad has told me a lot about you I'm Ace"

"It's nice to meet you Ace"

Ace"That's my sister Eva, she is a bit shy with strangers"

I waved at the little girl but she ducked behind her mother

A girl around Scarlett age came in, I could tell she was Jace's daughter because she had blonde hair blue eyes and looked like her father

???"Hey aunt izzy have you seen my bag, the new one I bought"

Izzy"Ummm Savannah I haven't but you should check with your mum"

Savannah"Whose the lady,man and girl?"

Izzy"Clary and I didn't really get the rest of their names"

Savannah"You mean Clary, the Clary?"

Izzy"Yep" she said popping the 'p' in yep

Izzy turned to me and continued

Izzy"By the way who are they"

She pointed to Scarlett and Jake

"My daughter Scarlett and husband Jake"

Izzy"You married?" She asked shocked

Magnus"Mini biscuit"
