You had saved up for a year to buy you car
Your own car, your very own car just yours
You had never been more excited than the day you got those keys
Then, two months later, you were driving home from school when you heard your phone buzz next to you
You glanced down, Sweets<3, flashing across the screen
You were too buys reading his short message to notice the sharp curve ahead of you
You'd balled your eyes out the entire trip to the hospital
Your car had been totaled, you new as soon as it plowed into the tree around the curve
Just like you'd immediately knew your leg was broken
You were shaken up, softly shaking on a hospital bed in the Riverdale General Hospital ER as a doctor wrapped your leg in the makings of a cast
You were running over in your head how you were gonna tell your family what happened when you heard yelling in the hall
"Y/N! Y/N!"
The doctor and you exchanged glances
Just then the curtain around your bed was yanked back by a worried Jughead
"Jug, hey-"
"Oh thank God!" Jughead breathed rushing forward and wrapping his arms around you in a tight hug. "Are you okay?"
"Jughead I totaled the car." You bit your lip guiltily
"Oh screw your car Y/N, are you okay?!"
"I will be." You gestured to your f/c cast
"Jug, did you find-?" Suddenly Archie appeared out of nowhere with Betty and Veronica behind him
"Oh Y/N, are you alright?!" Betty breathed rushing to wrap her arms around you tightly, causing you to wince.
"Sorry." She muttered pulling back from you quickly
"What happened?" Veronica pryed gently, stepping forward and placing a perfectly manicured hand on your shoulder
"The receptionest wouldn't tell us anything." Archie added stepping up next to Veronica looking just as worried as everyone else.
"It was stupid," you muttered in embarrassment, looking down at your f/c cas.
"I got a text from Sweetpea and wasn't paying attention to-"
"You were texting and driving?"
Everybody looked up to FP standing in the doorway, still wearing his Pop's uniform and Serpant jacket
"What the hell where you thinkin'?" He bit out angrily
"Dad I'm-"
You were cut off by him rushing forward, the gang parting a clear path, and wrapping his leather clad arms around you so tight you could varley breath
Surrounded by your father's scent and pressed up against his chest, still shaken from tbis morning you suddenly felt like a little girl again and couldn't stop the tears from flowing
"Shush, Baby Girl, you're okay. You're gonna be okay."
"I'm so sorry Daddy." You cried into his shoulder as he stroked your hair gently.
Jughead moved forward wrapping his arms around both of you.
