Chapter 13 ~ Confessions~

Marinette's POV
I wasn't sure if I really wanted to tell my mom this,but she promised. Things have been going downhill and all I want to do is be with my minou. I don't understand why I keep thinking about him, even if I had him for a few days. I trust my mom, but does she trust me?

Marinette continued, "I was feeling down that day because I didn't want to spend the summer alone." "I don't understand,you have me and your father" Replied Sabine. "I know,it's just alya went to Greece for the summer which you already know about and I had a lot of things planned for us. I just love to be with alya,she knows how to brighten anyone's day. She always made me feel comfort when I was with her, she's my best friend.When I took out the trash I saw a black kitten" Marinette said. "So what does that have to do with this?" Sabine said curiously. "I'll get there, he was a stray and so I felt bad for him. And I know you tell me strays could have a disease or whatever,but he was suffering mom!" Replied Marinette. "I took him inside and brought him food and toys, I took care of him for a bit." Marinette smiled as she said this. "And you weren't gonna tell me?

Marinette I'm your mother, you need to tell me things not hide them!" She said offended. "I-I was,but he ran away so I went to go look for him. I mean it! I saw that he went to an alley so I followed him...and then..." Marinette sat there,she didn't want to say how that night went down. "Then what?" Said Sabine. Marinette's eyes filled with tears, she said "something then bad happened" she cried. Sabine put her hand on her heart and said "what happened?" Sabine said quietly. "A-a man then appeared a-and he..." Marinette couldn't say it, she just didn't want to remember anything she went through. Sabine then realized where this was going and gasped. "Did he- touch you?" Said sabine about to cry. Marinette looked up,tears rolled down her cheek. She nodded and bursted into tears. "I-i didn't w-want to m-mom!!" Said Marinette as she hugged Sabine.

"Why did you tell me! I was worried for you!" Sabine cried. "I-I know but, he didn't get too far" Marinette said breaking the hug. "What do you mean!?" Sabine Replied. "That's when I first met cat noir, he saved me from the man and took me home" marinette wiped her tears as she said this. "C-cat noir?" Sabine said confused. "Yes, he then visited me the next day to see how I was doing and I don't remember too well, but I think that day was our first kiss..." Marinette blushed. Sabine nodded in silence and said "is that all?".  Marinette didn't want to talk more about this and lied "ye-yes". Sabine hugged Marinette one more time and asked her if she wanted anything. "No" replied Marinette, "just please don't lie to me next time,I care about you Marinette" said Sabine as she put her hand on Marinette's check.

Sabine went downstairs and Marinette stayed in bed,while Cat noir sat on the Eiffel Tower, "Looks like your a star now" said a voice behind cat noir. Chat's ears rose up and he turned around to the voice. "V-Viperion!" Said cat noir nervously, Viperion frowned at cat noir and walked towards him slowly. Cat noir got up, "If you've seen the video then-" cat noir was cut off by Viperion. "You know kitty, you really don't like to listen" said Viperion coldly. "I told you to stay away from Marinette!" Viperion said. "Leave Marinette out of this, she's been through enough!" Said cat noir in defense. "Your the one put her through a lot!" Replied Viperion. Cat noir stood there, Viperion is right though thought cat noir. Cat noir looked at Viperion and said "your right,but I'm not the one who made her suffer in the first place." Viperion's eyebrows rose as he said this. Cat noir looked at him and he looked back. They looked at each other seriously.

Viperion whispered "Marinette was mine first without the suit, until we broke up. She didn't forgive me so I tried everything I could to make her mine again. Now,I'm here and was granted a new life,but it just seems I keep losing her even more." Viperion said. Cat noir stood in shock, "I went through almost the same thing,my past self was so stupid I didn't know what I was doing. I was only 13" he said. Viperion looked at cat noir, he was going through the same thing as him. He felt like he wanted to do something that he shouldn't. "Maybe I have to move on" said Viperion. Cat noir smiled at him thank god he moved on he thought and walked away "I have to go" he said. Viperion frowned and grabbed cat noir's arm. "Huh, what are you doing Viperion?" Said cat noir confused. (Ok please don't be mad at me for what's about to happen, remember this is still marichat and I had to ok!! 😓)
