We arrived at Lake City Lodges and it was a beautiful site. A gently river flowing in front of the trees. The opposite side of the river was filled with a long line of bars and restaurants. I couldn't help but notice how the lodges were neatly packed close to the mountains. I took a sigh of relief as I could already feel myself relax as the feeling of stress levitated from me.

Sal placed his hand on my shoulder as he led the way to his family's lodge. We were immediately greeted by his mother, who was practically like my mother. After me and Sal being closest friends for over 20 years, his family has definitely gotten to know me. Although it felt wrong it pretending we were together, I didn't mind doing Sal a favour after everything he has done for me.

Meanwhile, Joe and Murr drove down to Lake City with Q. They have definitely noticed how he's changed. They didn't know why. Q never told them about us getting together; frankly because it wasn't long until we broke up. But I left a scare on his heart, one he would always feel and one I had always hoped to heal.
