~Chapter Twenty Seven~
"It's fine, what exactly did he do to you?" I asked.
"He... kissed me." Ariana tried to reassure me that it was all right but I see that it really affected her.
"Oh that fucking bastard! I'm going to kill him!" I roared.
"We shall see who kills who first," a person came out of the shadows.
"You again," I spat as he came in. It was the captor.
"Yes, me again," he smiled amused. "I'm giving you a choice. I need information and no matter what I have to do, I'll get them. It's your pick. The easy or the hard way?"
"We do not know anything!"
"Hard way it is then," he smirk, walking towards Ariana.
"You stay away from her!" I yell.
He places a hand on her stomach, his fingers slowly moving up.
Ariana let out a whimper but immediately stopped, not giving him the satisfaction.
"STOP! I'LL TELL YOU WHATEVER YOU WANT! JUST LEAVE HER ALONE!" I screamed making him pause, his fingers just below Ariana's breasts.
"Well, I'm glad you changed you mind. Should've thought about first and poor girl over here wouldn't even be touched."
"What do you want to know?" I gritted my teeth.
"Do your packs know of our plans?"
"Of the war? Of course they did,"
"Did they make any preparations?"
"Yes, but I assure you I know nothing. Neither do my sister."
"How could you not know? Surely your mate would have said something,"
"My mate and I haven't been talking lately," my heart sank. If I was going to die here, Will will never know that I love him and want him back.
"Ah, trouble in paradise,"
I scowled but said nothing.
"What are your pack numbers?" He nodded to me.
"60," I mutter. This can be treated as treason.
"50," Ariana murmured.
"Release them and lock them up together with the others,"
"Hello, I'm Skylar, what's your name?" I tried to have a conversation with a little boy chained with me. Ariana and I were separated. I was in a room full of male prisoners.
"Alexander," the boy whispered.
"Alexander, I have some questions for you, do you think you can help me?"
"How many prisoners are there?"
"More than a hundred,"
"How long have you been here?"
"Bout two weeks,"
"Did anyone try to escape?"
He nod. "My ma,"
"Where is she now?"
"In heaven," Alexander murmured, tears brimming in his eyes.
"I heard heaven's a very nice place, your ma would be very happy and at peace, she wouldn't want to see you cry," I comforted.
"How 'bout Daddy? He's a bad man, will he go heaven too?"
"How bad is he?"
"He cheated with another woman,"
"Did he say sorry?" I ask softly.
"A million times, and ma forgave him,"
"Well, of course he will go to heaven! He changed, didn't he?"
Little Alex nodded, a big smile on his face.
I could only hope Will would forgive me.

Here’s a peek of the first chapter…
The boy pushed the key into the lock, careful not to make any sound.
His brown hair was as messy as usual and his blue eyes seemed calm. They darted left to right, as if checking the presence of anyone.
He held quiet beauty, mysterious and calm, though inside his heart was racing.
He wasn't tall, no, but not exactly short either. He was small, but not scrawny either. He was lean, with no evidence that he lifted weights daily. Still, he was perfect.
The boy pushed open the door slowly, his shoes lightly treading on the old floorboards. They creaked slightly under pressure and he paused. The room was dark and only a faint shaft of light was present.
He cocked his head to the side, trying to detect the slightest sounds, slightest movements.
Satisfied, he continued to sneak in. Little did he know, the danger was lurking nearby.
A hand suddenly reached out and grabbed his shoulder roughly.
He knew then, that he was in trouble.
