The colours of joy
Roaming the streets
In the hands of small and big
And lighting the world in their different shades.
The colours of love
Painting the faces and streets
Like a kaleidoscope
And making a pattern so unique
So beautiful.
The colours of pride
Celebrating the victory of
good over evil.
Embracing the angels
And letting go of the demons.
The colours of unity
Of Hindus, Muslims, and Sikhs.
A celebration made together
As whole
As one.
The colours of Holi
Unfurling in the skies above.
Leaving an imprint on our hearts
An imprint of togetherness.
An imprint of love.
