Never Forgetting

Class

A/N sorry guys been busy not trying to leave you guys with nothing to read. This chapter is going to have a bit of talk of depression and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I hope you like this chapter!!!!

Camille's POV
I role out of bed and go to the bathroom when I'm done I go to wash my hands and look myself in the mirror. I see something different than what I seen when I was at home. I seem a little bit happier or at least at peace with myself knowing I'm safe. I hear a knock on my door and I open it. Scarlet is there behind the door when I open it. "You ready for class?" She asks I apparently my look nervous because Scarlet puts her hand on my shoulder and says
"it will be ok it's just the people who live here and who you've met most at group yesterday"
"Y-yeah I guess I'm ready"
We walk out of my room and down the same hallway to the lobby where the windows are and I instantly see a couple of girls at my old school who used to hurt me. I duck behind a fake plant until I know they're out of sight.
"Are you ok? What was that about?" Scarlet says
"There were a couple girls from my old school who used to pick on me outside I didn't want them to see me. Especially here."
She easily understandably dismissed why I did it and we walked to the class. It was bigger than the usual classes that I've been in but I guess that could be because there's more people and that it's all comprised into one class. We get started.
We get to the point of math which has never been my strong suit so I had a bunch of help from scarlet to help me understand what I was doing. She made it easy and fun for me not hard and boring. I'm glad that she's here because if she wasn't I don't know what I'd do. She knows my father more than I do. I didn't even know he had to come here. I miss him so much.
"Scarlet..?" I say and she comes over to me looking a little concerned.
"Yes? Are you ok?" She replies
"Yeah I was just wondering if I would be able to see my dad soon?"
She looked a little taken aback because I asked that question but as soon as she finally gathered all her thoughts and said "I honestly don't know I can talk to the other staff to see when family day is and I'll get back to you ok?"
I'm a little upset that she doesn't know but she's going to find out when that is. I miss my dad a lot and I want to have a full on conversation with him to tell him what's been going on.

Class is over and I go to sit at the lunch table I normally sit at. I look to my left towards the doors and see Scarlet scanning the area. When she sees me she comes over to me and says "there is a family visiting day next week on Thursday and I have called your father to join..." I get up and hug her tightly before she could finish the sentence and she hugs me back gently.
I let her go so she can finish what she was saying
"He said he would try to make it but he isn't sure if he can because of your mother"
My happiness quickly turns to despair hearing that he may not be coming. Although she did say he would try so I have to hold onto that hope that he will because I really want to see him.

I finish lunch and go back to my class to finish off what I'm doing and I put my books away when I done and not even realizing it I run into a a boy. I fall to the floor as I hit him. He turns around and looked at me all embarrassed.
"I-I'm sorry" I say in desperation to get some sort of word out of my mouth.
"Are you ok?" He replies
"Y-yeah" he holds out his hand and I take it as he helps me up.
"My names Samuel"
"Camille..." I reply
I have seen him in group yesterday not talking to him as I am a new person here. I quickly put my stuff away and walk out the door hearing him yell 'wait' as I flee down the hall to my room. I hide in my room for the rest of the day and I end up falling asleep really early that night because I have had a long day.......
