When He Became A King

Chapter 1 : Inseparable

Elias and Jonah were on their way to Jonah's house in the Village.

After Elias found Jonah injured in a cave in the Forest with a monster trying to kill him he had so many questions.

Elias's P.O.V:

What happened?

Why was a monster trying to kill Jonah?

Why didn't it attack me?

Are there any ___ My line of thoughts was interrupted by Jonah.

"We're here" he said pointing to his house.

"Are you going to be ok?" I asked him before knocking on the door.

He nodded and I hugged him.

I didn't know why, but I had a feeling that this was the last time I would ever see him.

He returned the hug and We staied like this for what felt like a minute then I broke the hug leaned him on the wall and decided to leave before anyone could see me.

Jonah's sweetheart opened the door she gasped when she saw the state he was in and immediately hugged him.

Watching them from a far I felt happy for him but I also felt envious and jealous.

Then he entered the house and I had to go back to the Palace.

I had this urge to go back to the house and take Jonah back with me to the Palace but I knew this would be improper so I just walked away feeling that I won't see him again.

A Week Later :

At The Palace :

A week has already passed and Elias still didn't get over what he did to his mother.

When he returned to the Palace he was told that his Mother the Queen was found dead in a cave in the Forest.

No one knew that Elias killed the Queen and he intended to keep it that way.

Elias's P.O.V:

I can't believe I did that

That monster was my Mother

I killed my Mother

What if someone discovered that I killed the Queen?, I might get exiled or maybe worse executed

Maybe I should just run away?, No I can't leave my Kingdom

Should I tell Jonah?, No he has his own life now I shouldn't trouble him

What should I___ My line of thoughts was interrupted by a maid telling me that breakfast is ready.

I made my way to the Dining room and couldn't help but think that I'm all alone now, my Father died before my birth, I killed my Mother, I also lost my best friend.

There was a maid standing near me to bring me anything I needed.

It was considered an act of rudness if someone from a lower rank sat down to eat with me, but I had to try.

"Come eat with me" I smiled at her encouragingly.

"Are you talking to me your Highness?" She politly asked.

"Yes you who else?" I laughed.

"If someone sees me I will be in trouble your Highness" She said smiling at me.

I didn't want to get her in trouble so I just sat and ate my food silently then left the dining room.

Is this how I will live my life from now on?
