CHAPTER FORTY-SIX

3rd person POV

"Hi Jihye, how are you feeling?" Jihye just ignored him and carried on locking her front door.

"Did you get a good sleep?" He asked again, not losing his positiveness. Yoongi would never beg a person to pay attention to him. Jihye was an exception, for sure. He would turn the mountains upside down if it will make her happy or, at least, look at him.

"Hey, don't I exist?" He started to pout. Vampire or not, he was still a man. The eagerness in him to get what he wants presented.

"After you left me like a dog, no, you don't." She snapped without even sparing him a simple glance.

"Baby, I already said sorry. Forgive me, please?" He let the puppy eyes come out, his hidden weapon. If somehow Hoseok found out about Yoongi acting like this, he would laugh at him for the rest of their lives, which is an eternity and a pain in the ass.

"I have to work." She muttered out and went to the café, she works in.

After greeting Taemin with a simple 'Hey', she went to change her coat to an apron, a black small spot printed on it due to the coffee she spilled on it the other day.

'I should wash this' She thought as she started her workday.

"Jihye, your shift is off." Soyeon, one of my co-workers, informed me.

"Okay." I showed an 'okay' sign and went to take off my apron.

Today the cafe had many visitors, which is not surprising. Saturday, after all. I was so exhausted if my body collided with the bed, I'm sure I would fall asleep immediately.

A yawn escaped my mouth when I was making my way to the front door of the café. I bid goodbye to my co-workers and opened the door to exit.

As soon as I was outside, I noticed a person with a fool bouquet of red and orange roses. Red, representing love and desire. Orange, representing passion. Read it somewhere.

I tilted my head to the side in surprise before the mystery person moved the flowers down and showed his face with a gummy smile.

My heart skipped a beat when I saw the grin I didn't see in months. I missed it, I missed him.

He came closer, "Hi, love. I bought flowers for you." He stretched his hands forward to give me.

"Bought or took?" I smirked, knowing him. He scratched the back of his head, "Well, I don't really work, but I spent all the money I could find for it. I didn't take it for free, I swear." He said the last words with such a soft tone. Like he was saying 'I would do anything for you'

I took them later on inhaling its scent, "Thank you, they are beautiful." I smiled. I didn't receive roses in— forever? To think about it, no one gifted me flowers in my whole life.

"What are your plans for today?" He asked.

"Actually, I'm exhausted." I looked at him with half-open eyes. For a moment I even forgot I was mad at him. To be honest, when he appeared in the morning, the first thing I wanted to do was to hug him and tell him that everything was okay. But he needs to learn a lesson, right?

We were walking next to each other, comforting silence leading our way.

"I missed you." I heard him speak suddenly. I did too...

"I was longing to hear you laugh, make you smile or, at least, see your features up close. It was killing me inside, even though I am dead. Ironic, right?" He was talking alone, not caring that I wasn't speaking at all.

I smiled at his words and hummed, "I missed you too." I said at last. His head turned to look at me immediately and smiled after understanding what I just had said.

He came closer to hug me and sighed, "I would've given my everything to hug you like this again." His chin on my head, only his chest separating my ear and his heart, "I love you, I really do. Forgive me...please" He trailed off, rather begging.

"I did forgive you, the moment you came to the cafe on the first day." I raised my head to meet his eyes. No matter how much I try, I know I'd go back to him.
