"Good morning idiotic-woman." Jack said then I smiled.
"Way to say good morning. Very sweet." I said while rolling my eyes.
"Are you feeling good?" He asked.
"Yes, idiotic-man. Thank you for taking care of me." I said while chuckling then he smiled.
I stood up and headed to my bathroom to do my routine, leaving Jack sitting on my bed..
"Tell me about your childhood dummy." I ordered while chuckling.
"But I already told you that I don't remember a lot until I am 12." He reasoned while chuckling.
"Then tell me when your around that age or just your teen life." I ordered while rolling my eyes.
"Okay bossy idiotic-woman.. When I was 14, I became a little bit rebel. I started drinking, and I always hang with my friends, but I don't smoke. I always went home every 3 to 4 in the morning.. Stumbling inside aunt's house drunk and mad. Meise and I don't really get to bond with each other. I am always drunk and out. Aunt and uncle tried stopping me, but I didn't. Uncle once punched me in the stomach cause I am so drunk that I shouted at my aunt. Okay, then when I was 15, I discovered the beach.. I started building my tree house there, then after that, I stayed there.. But of course they know. At first, sometimes I go home sometimes not.. Then after a couple of months, I stayed there permanently, I am already 16 that time so they let me." He stopped.. Catching his breath earning a chuckle from me.
"Go on, continue." I ordered and this time, he rolled his eyes.
"I lived there freely and carelessly. I can't call it living on my own cause aunt and uncle still pay my expenses and all. They always leave the money or credit card in a specific teacher of mine cause our times don't match. After graduating high school, I already started working and I told them not to give me money. After saving enough money, I stopped working and tried new things. I decided to change my life and be more fun.. Well, tried. That's all. Nothing interesting.." He said while chuckling emptily.
"THAT'S interesting." I said, emphasizing 'THAT'S'.
"So now.. Tell me yours.." He ordered and I rolled my eyes.
"Mom and dad are always out.. Always at work. Well, that's all of my childhood." I said while chuckling and he rolled his eyes making me chuckle more.
Our eyes are rolling a lot this day..
"Wait, I remember that childhood friend of yours. I forgot his name, what is his name again?" He asked while trying to recall something.
"You didn't forgot his name cause I didn't told you his name in the first place.. I can't remember his name remember? But.. It starts with F." I said while chuckling.
"Oh. Okay, just tell me about him then. Tell me things." He said.
"Okay, okay. Well, he is a playful kid back then, of course. He is a unique person, he's my best friend. That's all." I finished while grinning.
I miss him though, where is he right now? I wonder why didn't he came back to our little escape.
"How can you tell that he's unique?" Jack asked.
"I just can tell. He is different from the other kids that I played with or spent time with." I said.
"Oh. What if he pops out someday and then ask you to be his girlfriend?" He asked worriedly.
"Well, I didn't think of that. Stop worrying things that won't happen. I can't even remember his name for man's sake." I said while chuckling and shaking my head.
"But you can remember his face, right?" He asked, curiously.
"Not quite. I only remember his thick eyebrows and pointed nose. Oh, oh, and his smile.. He has a very wide smile." I said, excitedly.
"You miss him?" He asked.
"Of course, I miss him. But we're young back then, I don't know how he is right now." I stated.
"Oh.." He trailed, quietly.
He stopped for a few moments like he's remembering something.
"What's wrong?" I asked, curiously.
"Nothing, nothing." He said while shaking his head.
"Really, Jack?" I asked, obviously.
"What?" He asked while crunching his eyebrows up.
It's like he is physically present but mentally absent.
"Jack.. What's wrong? Really?" I asked, becoming worried.
He just held his head and looked at me while shaking his head.
"Maybe I'm just tired." He stated.
I looked at the clock and it's just 3 in the afternoon. We have rarely done anything that needs so mug energy to make him tired.
"Okay, just rest here. I'll get you some water, okay?" I asked.
"No need princess. I'm fine." He said while smiling, but I can sense something different.
"Just rest there and wait for me." I stated and this time he nodded.
I walked out of the room and slowly walked down the stairs. I'm starting to get worried.. Should I bring him to the hospital or something? Ugh, I'm a very bad girlfriend.
"Mage, honey?" I snapped my head up and searched for the voice. It's dad's, he's on the first step coming from downstairs.
"Yes dad? Wait, why aren't you at work?" I asked while continued walking down the stairs.
"We got home early.. Your mom's already at the room. So, what's wrong?" He asked, worriedly.
"What? What's wrong?" I asked, puzzled from his question.
"Your face earlier." He stated.
"Oh, dad.. I think Jack's feeling something, but he won't tell me. He is like spaced out earlier. He said he is fine, but I can see that he's not." I said, worriedly.
"Let me check on him first before we bring him to the hospital." He said and I nodded.
"Go check on him, dad. Thank you. I'm just going to go and get some water for him." I said.
"Mage! Something happened!" Dad shouted at the top of the stairs.
