Adrian and Sydney wanted to help for our prank on Stan. I figured their help could be useful considering that was adding a witch/alchemist and a spirit user to our already amazing team of fighting badasses. I knew a prank was a low blow but you couldn't be a Hathaway without pranking your high school teacher who made your life a living hell.

Sydney created a charm that when I wore it would transform my appearance to make me look like the old me. It was a gorgeous amulet a large ruby in the center with a silver plate around it with engraved vines. It reminded me of a rose. I put it on and heard gasps coming from the guys as if they didn't know I was actually Rose Hathaway until my hair was returned to its original color. I smirked and turned back to Sydney who had already begun applying a powder to my face to make me seem "ghostly." Christian was able to pinpoint Stan's exact schedule for his duty around court and his room number. Guess being the Queen's boyfriend had it's perks. Adrian was going to have an acting job and he even made a long speech as to why he should get the part even though he was the only one running.

When Sydney finished my makeup I looked in the mirror and marveled at how much I had really changed in comparison to the old Rose Hathaway, and it wasn't just the makeup. I slid on a hoodie as we hurried down the hall towards Stan's room. We passed very few guards and those we did pass made no eye contact as they were too busy scanning their surrounding for possible strigoi break-ins. When we got to Stan's door Christian, Adrian, and Sydney hid around the corner as I skipped up to his door. I pulled down my hood, which I had been wearing in case of any accidental run-ins, and I knocked on the door. Moments before I had turned away ready to criticize Christian on his ability to read a time table Stan answered the door wrapped tightly in a bathrobe. He had bags under his eyes to compliment the look of complete anger plastered on his face as if someone had just woken him up from his "beauty" sleep. Oh wait I had. It was quite comical actually where is a camera when you need one? I quit my smirking and began my scripted play.

"Hello Stan. I have missed you well not really." I replied with the old Hathaway sarcasm. He rubbed his eyes over his hands as if he were seeing something that wasn't supposed to be there. He must have realized I wasn't going anywhere because his eyes practically bulged out of his head when he came to his senses.

"R—r—ose," he stuttered. Stan stuttering this was only getting better and better.

"Yes Stan. I just wanted to say that your class at St. Vladmirs was simply the most awful, and boring class ever. It really was torture to sit there in that class. So how have you been?  As for me I have been good thanks for asking." Stan's jaw was dropped and he was unable to produce any words.

"How are you here? Why are you here?" He finally asked.

"You really think I would miss out on the chance to come visit the worst teacher at St. Vladmirs?" He wasn't a terrible teacher he just hated me so I felt obligated to hate him back. As if on cue Adrian came walking down the hallway.

"Hello Guardian Alto," he greeted. "What exactly are you doing?"

"Um...do you by any chance see I don't know Rose in front of my doorway?" Stan looked as if he was about to go crazy. Adrian looked directly into my eyes a slight smile tugging at his lips signaling he was enjoying this as much as I did.

"No. You know what happened Stan we all got the same news. It's quite sad of you to bring it up I miss her and—." Adrian gasped for air and he was beginning to cry. It took everything in me to not start cracking up and yell 'ha Stan it's actually me. I'm back and better than ever.' Instead I wanted to see how this was gonna play out so I sat back and watched.

"Oh I'm uh sorry Lord Ivashkov." Adrian buried his face in his hands and his shoulders heaved as if he was still crying heavily.

"Nice going Stan." I spoke again. A freaked out Stan looked from me back to Adrian, but by the time he looked back at me I was already around the corner with Christian and Sydney. Christian was laying on the floor laughing so hard he was nearly crying. Sydney held a look of admiration on her face as she watched Adrian continue his acting facade with Stan. I was glad Adrian finally found someone who was his perfect match. He deserved that much after I tore his heart out by running back to Dimitri who ended up destroying me, but I was past that now. That stuff didn't bother me anymore. It wouldn't bother me anymore. Adrian met us around the corner moments later wiping the tears of his face which had turned from sad tears to laughing tears.

"Nice acting Hathaway." Even though I nowadays preferred Mazur I wasn't going to correct him. In this moment I felt like a normal Hathaway again. We were back at St. Vladmirs academy playing pranks on our professors with no drama and no knowledge of the outside world. Just a simple reminder of when times were good.

"Not so bad yourself Ivashkov." I smirked. I tore off the amulet handing it back to Sydney who shoved it in her pocket wrapping her arms around Adrian. I admired their admiration for each other longing to have the same with Dimitri but I knew that would never happen. He made his choice, and I made mine. A nudge on my shoulder snapped me out fo my thoughts as I turned to the source. Christian stood their a neutral look on his face so it was hard to tell if this was going to be good or bad.

"Lissa wants to invite you to breakfast with us tomorrow to discuss your job while you are here at court. As well as go over your case file of molnija marks. Now before you say anything yes I tried to convince her otherwise obut she really wants to meet you again. It makes sense considering you are the closest 'relative' to well yourself or your old self. You know how confusing you have made this," he laughed to lighten the mood or to ease the anger that was plastered on my face. "Anyway you are kind of obligated to come no questions asked she still is your queen and best friend."

"Best friends don't turn on each other," I mumbled not sure if he heard. If he did he chose to ignore it.

"So?"

"Fine," I grumbled,"but don't make me regret this Sparky."

"Wouldn't dream of it Hathaway." We all parted out separate ways as I headed back to my room to wash off all the makeup Sydney had put on my face. She made me look pretty convincing but getting all the make up off was a struggle. By the time I was done it was near midnight moroi time and I thought it best to go to the gym and work out all the stress and nervousness tomorrow would bring. I dressed quickly in gym clothes and headed down towards the gym here at court.

I walked in the gym but noticed I wasn't alone there stood Guardian Belikov and Guardian Pavel in what looked like a sparing match. Of sorts.

So sorry it's been a while since I updated
