If Vladimir is acting out of character, it's meant to be that way. He's not sane at all anymore.

Vladimir woke, his eye snapping wide open. His amber eye glowed in the middle of the night, terror span through his body like a spider making a web. A thick, huge, choking web. His body was slick with sweat and he jolted upright in the hospital bed he lay in. He felt like screaming but didn't want to wake her again- Worry her again. He felt pools of tears build up in his eye. Some had already fallen down his pale, flushed cheeks. His stomach wound hurt like hell. It felt like fire burning out a hole in his stomach. He pressed his lips into a thin line and groaned in agony. He placed a hand over his stomach and let more tears spill down his face. A soft sob escaped his lips as he remembered the jumbled up images in his nightmare. Loyalty's soft laugh echoed in his ears and Fork's hard gaze burrowed into his mind. Tim's protectiveness sent his mind spiraling into waves of hurt. The image of Loyalty flashing down the stiff side sent roaring terror into his bones. A soft scream escaped his lips as he remembered grabbing air. Missing Loyalty- being too late. It was all his fault. He cried more, tears spilling out of his eye. His body jerked helplessly in pain. The fire was burning worse, sending waves of agony into Vladimir. He rolled over and gaped in fear.
Is this how I'm going to die? Curled up in a hospital bed barely hanging onto my sanity? He almost laughed. He had no sanity left. As soon as the first replay of Loyalty jumping off the cliff echoed in one of his dreams he lost it. He missed him, so much. Even though he had been stubborn and rough. In the end Vladimir learned how much his love and affection meant to Loyalty.
He learned how much Loyalty loved and adored him. He learned just how much, and would never understand it.
He cried harder, grabbing at the air for Loyalty. He was losing it. He felt blood begin warming against his body. He made no move to call out or scream in terror. He didn't want to die- He wanted to live. He was terrified of death, but as long as it kept everything out of his head he'd be fine. His body convulsed with pain, opening the wound more. He gasped as in moments blood was warming his sides. He looked at the white sheets and groaned. A dark puddle soaked through the blanket. He opened his mouth to cry for help but only a desperate sob came out. Like a deer crying out as it was eaten alive by a pack of hungry wolves. He attempted again but his throat seemed closed off and raw, and his energy magically seeped out of his body. He went limp, his eye dancing closed and then open, like the flames of a fire, rising higher and lower with each passing moment. Vladimir's pillow was soaked with sweat and his sheets were severely rumpled. He opened his eyes hazily, trying to regain his sense of reality. His eyes flicked around the room until he saw something. By the door of the hospital room was a glowing figure. His hard face unmistakable. Vladimir cried out in fear, trying to move away from him. Instead he grew closer until he stood by Vladimir's bed. A soft blue mist surrounded the male. A halo was above his head and wings arched behind his back. Stars were embedded into his misty, glowing outline. He looked beautiful- He reached out and touched Vladimir's face with such a gentle approach Vladimir sobbed harder. The guard's hand was warm. Bringing Coffee inner peace until he moved away. The tall Square reached out for the male's arm.. but his hand phased through it. Another sob escaped his lips as he clawed for Loyalty. Black clouds began blotting out the corners of his vision, and the world seemed to be edging to darkened slowly. Fresh tears rolled down his face as his hand met Loyalty's and didn't cross straight through it. He froze. His gaze shifted to terror, but then to a soft smile. Loyalty went rigid.
"Never seen you smile like that at me" Loyalty said sweetly, his voice ringing in Vladimir's ears like the soft breeze of a hot summer day. Vladimir's hand went limp and dropped away from Loyalty's. The short male's face turned grim as Vladimir closed his eyes for several long seconds. When he opened his eyes starry tears spilled down Loyalty's cheeks. The clouds of darkness were finally swallowing Vladimir's vision whole. His body already felt cold and too weak to fight back.
"I'm sorry" the short male whispered before Vladimir's world blinked to complete black.
