Brad POV

When the movie ended I got a text message from Megan.

“Hey, why did you leave all of a sudden?” She asked.

“Why is she bothering you?” She asked me.

“I don’t know. Should I reply?” I asked me.

“No, I want to call her.” She said.

“What? No.” I said putting the phone in my pocket.

“Why? Do you like her?” She asked me.

“No. I just don’t want you to get in trouble.” I said defensively.

“Just give me her number.” She said.

“Lauren please just drop it.” I said.

“No.” She said.

“I’m going to go.” Taylor said walking upstairs to her room.

“You’re such a butthole.” She said walking to the kitchen.

“How am I a butthole?” I asked chasing after her.

“I want to end this but apparently you still want to be with her.” She said.

“No I don’t. All I want is you. You know this.” I said.

“Then give me her number.” She said leaning against the counter.

“No, I’m doing this to protect you.” I said.

“Protecting me? This is not protecting me this is hurting me.” She said walking away but I grabbed her wrist and pulled her against me.

“Please don’t do this again.” I said with our foreheads against each other’s.

“All I want is her number.” She said.

“Fine, if this will get you to stop then here.” I said reaching in my pocket and handing her my phone.

“Thank you.” She said kissing him and then walking outside.

“What did I do?” I asked myself. I looked outside and I saw her forehead getting wrinkled, which meant she was getting mad. She came back in and gave me back my phone.

“So?” I asked her.

“She said she was going to stop but I didn’t believe her so I blocked her number from your phone.” She said.

“Okay good. Come here.” I said pulling her into a hug. “I never want us to end things again.”

“Me neither.” She said. I kissed the top of her head.

“I love you.” I said.

“I love you too. Listen next time a girl from your past tries to sabotage our relationship just talk to me about it.” She said. “Don’t get scared to tell me.” She added.

“Okay but what about you and Luis?” I asked her as a joke.

“Really?” She asked slapping my chest playfully.

“It was a joke.” I said.

“But I should tell you something.” She said.

“What?” I asked getting nervous leaning against the counter.

“Luis is coming to our family reunion on Saturday.” She said biting her lip.

“You have got to be kidding me.” I said turning around looking out the window.
