Sams pov:
I never saw G so protective of anyone before, whatever Gibbs had told him must be the reason. He send me out to be able to talk to, I assume El, for a minute before he also left our interrogation room. While I went over to the desk in the middle of the room he wouldn't go away from the door he just closed. He waived me over and with an irritated sigh I did.
„What is the matter G? What is going on?" I ask him a bit annoyed to be kept in the dark.
„That girl, El, she is Gibbs daughter." he answers quietly, lifting his hand when he sees that I want to interrupt him.
„I also didn't know, he just informed me about it to. He promised to explain when he gets here, but for now, he asked me to keep her safe. Apparently a guy named Drago is after her, so I will not leave here nor her side till Gibbs arrives!" he goes on. Nodding slowly about the information he just told me. I picked up my phone to call Erik for a background check on this Drago, maybe this would tell us where he is at the moment. Looking for G, I realize he went back into the interrogation room. I took my place back at the table to observe what is going on in there. Seeing him sitting opposite from her, quietly talking to her. After I get what their conversation is about, I instantly muted the volumes on the screen. I guess that's why G is this protective over her. Just like him, she was a foster child, and in even more homes then he was. When she suddenly starts to tear up, he went to hug her but she immediately pushes him away with a terrified look.
My stomach turns at that, because that only can mean one thing, she has to be abused and pretty badly by how terrified she looks.
He holds up his hands and talked to her, she slowly seems to calm down at whatever he said and nods before sitting down again. He also went back to his seat, he holds out his hand over the table. After a minute of mixed feelings running over her face she slowly places her hand in his. They stayed like that, both only starring at their intervened hands. She seems to relax more and more before she starts to talk again. Deciding that it's time for me to inform Hetty about what is going on, I once again take my phone to make a call. It only rings once before she picks up.
„We have a problem Hetty. That girl that we caught is Gibbs daughter." I start only to be interrupted instantly.
„What are you talking about Mr. Hanna?! Gibbs daughter died years ago!" she states matter of factly.
„I know Hetty! But he seems to have adopted El here. G talked to him, he won't leave her side or wants anyone close to her. He just told me that she is Gibbs daughter and that a guy named Drago is supposedly after her. I already told Erik to run a background check on him." taking a deep breath deciding to tell her about what I just witnessed between G and El.
„And Hetty, El and G were just talking about their foster homes, hers must have been even worse than his." I nearly whisper in the end. G never told me exactly how bad his experiences were growing up, but enough to know it was hell. Hearing her breath hitch, tells me her imagination is running a lot of scenarios about a little G getting hurt over and over again. She took a deep breath and tells me to keep her updated about what is going on. Just as I wanted to put my phone away again, I get all the information on this Drago send from Erik. After I read everything I felt sick! A sudden realization comes to my mind, Erik send those information not only to me, but G as well. Immediately looking up at the screen I see a pale G sitting in the chair, nearly shaking in anger. Not wanting him to scare El, I went to the door and open it. What I didn't expect however, was for G to point his gun at me. When he sees it's me, he instantly relaxes a bit and puts it back into his pocked. Motioning for him to come out for a second so we could talk he nods and follows. But not before he smiles softly at El and telling her he only would be infront of the door.
„Sorry G, but I didn't wanted you to scare El even more. You looked ready to explode so I thought I would get you out to cool of a bit." I tell him after I closed the door behind us.
„You are right, thank you! And i'm sorry for pointing the gun at you." he says.
„Did you read the file Erik send us?" he asks getting angry all over again.
„I did! Don't worry, nothing is going to happen to her! We will keep her safe and catch that asshole! But right now we need to keep her as comfortable as possible. She is already scared enough." I say, trying to soothe him to the best of my abilities. Just then the door from the boatshed opens. Both of us get out our guns to do whatever is necessary to keep El safe. But we relax again as we see it's non other than Kensi, Deeks and to our surprise Hetty and Granger.
„Well, Hello to you two too!" Hetty says when she sees our guns are still out. So we put them back into their holsters.
„We brought some thinks to take that girls fingerprints. It will give us her identity and background since she won't tell us." Granger staids matter of factly. Feeling G stiffen next to me immediately gets all our attention.
„Non of you are going anywhere near her! Is that clear!?" he seethes out. Everyone looking at him strangely, everyone except me. To be honest, i'm completely on his side for this. No one is going anywhere near her except G or Gibbs! I whisper to him to go back in to El while I stay out here to keep an eye on the door. He looks me in the eyes for a second before he thanks me quietly and went back to El. I turn back to the rest, face stoic.
„You can wait out here all you want, but the only ones to enter this door is G and Gibbs." I tell them without any emotion in my voice. For a moment they look stunned but then reluctantly went to the table, keeping a wary eye on me. They don't even turn the volume back on, letting these two in there at least a bit privacy.
„Mr. Hanna, you can come over to have a seat to." Hetty says after about half an hour.
„No one is going to go in there! You have our words Mr. Hanna!" she adds since I wouldn't move. Looking at them to make sure that it's the truth, since I couldn't find anything suspicious in there eyes I slowly make my way over to them. I still make sure to be the closest to the interrogation room, just in case. Seeing Kensi and Deeks looking over some papers with Granger, while Hetty is keeping an eye on the screen to see what is going on in there. When Granger suddenly announces that maybe that's where Drago is hiding, he gets my attention.
„You think so?" i ask him unsure.
„Do you really think he is going to make it that easy for us?" I add since he points at a restaurant called „Drago's".
„All the informations we got on him are pointing at that restaurant." Kensi answers quickly but she also doesn't sound to sure.
„He bought that restaurant shortly before he got arrested. So it is our only lead ride now. On the other hand it also could be a trap." Deeks says what everyone else was thinking. Hetty looks at her watch before stating that she thinks it would be best to wait for the team from Washington to arrive. She thinks Gibbs would highly appreciate it and we also would of have some backup. There plane should land in about one hour anyway so we wouldn't lose a lot of time till then. We talked some more of where else he might could be hiding till it was time go and pick up Gibbs and his team.
