Part 35

Ren woke up in a dimly lit room with chains on her wrists. she wanted to scream and cry but she knows they wouldn't let her go.

"You're awake" Johnny said sitting down a few feet away from the broken girl, she's been out for two days

"Let me go, killing my brother is all I have to look forward to" she told him her voice raspy from yelling the day before

"You know that's a lie Ren, what about Yeosang? That kid is obsessed with you and you're obsessed with him. You know I can't do it" Johnny told her.

Ren is unaware of what happens to the female members of the one percent and Johnny is afraid to tell her.

"Johnny please" Ren felt tears fall down her face

He couldn't look at her like, so he got up and left leaving her crying with chains that'll leave bruises on her already ruined body

"Tell her, I can't and be careful" Johnny told Chan who was waiting outside. The boy sighed walking into the room to see her a sobbing mess

"C-Chan? Why are they hurting me?" She cried. Watching Ren so weak and vulnerable broke him, he had a soft spot for the female members. He walked over to her, loosening the chains on her wrists, "thank you" she whispered hugging him

"Ren do you know why there aren't a lot one percent females?" Chan asked cautiously, afraid he'd trigger her

"Because they're weak links, that's what my brother told me every time he'd beat me or his men would rape me" she whispered looking at Chan who looked mad

"That's not true at all babygirl, female members are among the strongest members in the group. The problem is that with that strength, there's a weakness that was discovered and it's happening to you"

"What do you mean Chan?" She moved closer to him

"Your emotions, when you were having a screaming match yesterday with Johnny, your emotions took over. They weren't good emotions, those were shut down"

"I don't get it"

"Ren, female members of the one percent are some of the strongest and most sinister members to exist" his eyes softened when he seen how upset she was

"You're lying! You're a liar! I'm not evil or sinister, I've never killed anyone or hurt anyone" She yelled at him

Chan remained calm, he's dealt with this before, "Ren can I tell you about my ex?"

"I don't think it's the time to talk about exes, but I guess" She said calming down

"Her name was Bora (Cherry Bullet), she was the sweetest girl that you'd ever meet. We were partners during raids and were in the elite group of the one percent. One day, something in her just shut down, she be-became someone else. I was able to calm her down every time, but her rage took over, she slaughtered everyone. I barely made it out alive" he was crying now

"What happened?" Ren whispered

"They burned her, made me watch as they set her on fire and told me it was my fault that everyone was dead. I tried to kill myself when I was in their custody, but they told me I deserve to live with the guilt and that I should've killed her the day I meet her. I escaped and Woojin found me and brought me to Namjoon. He was against me staying here, for awhile he blamed me too, he had friends that were killed that day. Since the event I haven't slept well, I have nightmares and still cry" he explained to her

"We don't want that to happen to you" Chan whispered while hugging her

She knocked him out and took the chains off, putting them on him, "I'm sorry Chan" she whispered through her tears, "I have to do this"

She escaped, taking Chan's phone running into the woods

She dialed Yeosangs number and called until he picked up

"H-hello is this a prank?" He scolded the phone. She smiled

"Y-yeosang" She said through a sob

"Ren what the heck, are you okay? Nobody would tell me anything" he questioned his voiced full of worry

"Y-yeah, I just wanted to tell you I love you and I'm sorry"

"What do you mean?"

"I'm sorry Yeosang I have to go, please don't hate me" she hung up and began heading deeper into the woods

We reached 5k reads and look at the rankings, that's wild. I made this book when I couldn't sleep and had a bunch of ideas running through my head, so this is pretty cool to me.
