We just told stories of good days
Filled with tangential back stories of even better days
We laughed at the funniest jokes
And told even funnier ones
We just sat on a green grass
Dreamt of futures with grass even more green
We ate the cheapest food
And wished they were even cheaper
We just spoke for hours on the phone
And spoke for even more hours in person
We debated issues of the world
While creating even more ambitious solutions
We just skipped the classes we paid too much for
And we still learned even more than we should
