Madaline's POV
Some one picked me up. My arms instantly wrapped around the persons neck. Sparks and tingles led me to believe that it was my mate. I let him believe that I was sleeping which wasn't a complete lie. I was sleeping till we hit the turn off. My life was almost perfect.
Nothing else mattered at the moment. He wasn't letting me go.
He set me on the bed. He began taking off my flats and kissing my legs. I couldn't help but giggle. It wasn't just cute but it honestly tickled. He got up and went to the dresser and pulled out what I assume are his boxers and a big shirt. He handed them to me.
"I'll be outside the door if u need anything." I nodded. He left and I got changed. I untied my hair and left it down. He knocked on the door.
"Come in." He walked in.
" I'm very sorry Maddie but I need to go. Rogues have entered the pack lands. Please don't leave this cabin they don't know you're here only the pack. I have guards outside watching making sure they don't get close. I love you." He was stroking my cheek. I wanted to be close to him as possible.
"Mark me." He gave the look of 'are you sure?' "Please."
