After a very long time of letting little kids make wishes, I was finally able to give, after putting out the flame (As requested by Mavis), Dennis his gift. I am so glad that he loves it!
Currently, I was eating my second piece of cake. What? It's a really great cake! I was sitting all alone at a table, looking at my phone. I was just looking at some hilarious photos since I was kind of bored. I mean, yeah, it was fun to be here, but a kids' birthday party is kind of boring for an adult. Especially one like me. But, I didn't want to be rude and just leave, so here I was instead.
I was feeling nervous again, but it wasn't as bad as earlier. I wish I had my friends with me. Then they could all be laughing, and talking, while I listened and talked and laughed with them, expect I would zone out a lot. I know I should listen, but I can't help it! Besides, when my friends are talking about something important I listen closely.
I didn't realize that tears had built in my eyes until I felt a tear running down. Quickly I rubbed my eyes, trying to erase my tears. No use. I could feel making a mess around my eyes and getting on to my hands. I let out an annoyed huff.
Timeskip brought to you by...Cakie the Monster!
Now this was fun! I was relaxing by the pool, laughing with everybody else. Most of the adults went to the pool, and I joined them, of course! The parents took their children to their rooms after Dennis' birthday party, so we don't have to worry about any kids. Most of the parents, after taking care of their kids, joined the rest of us.
I didn't have a bathing suit on, but that was fine with me. I was perfectly fine with staying in my seat. I had my phone with me, obviously, so I was occasionally looking at that. I was either laughing at my phone or at what antics some people or monsters were up to.
"Come join us in the pool, Y/N!" Johnny called out to me. I looked up from my phone.
I chuckled nervously.
"I, uh, don't know about that Johnny. I mean, I am not even wearing a bathing suit!"
"You could always change out of your wet clothes later!"
"But I would have to walk through the hotel in wet clothes."
"Just dry off really well before leaving."
"I still don't know, Johnny."
"C'mon! Have a little fun!"
"I am having fun right here!"
"Alright, whatever you say (Silly/Nickname)!"
I rolled my eyes before looking back at my phone. I spent a few minutes laughing at what I saw before I heard a splash. I have been hearing splashes ever since I got to the pool, but this one sounded....powerful, if that even makes sense. I looked up and saw Frank, smiling and waving at his wife. I looked at her and she rolled her eyes, annoyed. I shrugged my shoulders.
I looked back at the pool, then at my phone, then the pool, and then my phone again. I hesitated a moment before deciding to put away my phone and to tip my feet in the water. Nothing bad could happen if I just got my feet wet. I put my phone away and took off my shoes.
I walked over, sat down on the edge, and stuck my feet in the green-ish/blue-ish water. Strange color but it wasn't hurting me, so I was relaxed. I laughed at some games people were playing, not in a mean way, it looked really fun! But it was pretty funny to watch as well.
Suddenly, before I knew what was happening, I was in pushed into the water! Somehow I ended up in the middle of the pool, and as fast as I was pushed in, I was lifted into the air. I coughed before looking around. I looked at who was holding me, and guess who was holding me?
