summary : after recent heartbreak, nick doesn't want to be at the club at all, but his friends force him to go. nick spots a beautiful girl, and he can't help but ask her if she wants to dance with him.

17 year old nick walked into the club with his boys sighing.
although he was definitely underaged, being in the backstreet boys had perks, and this was definitely one of them. he could get into any club he wanted to for free.
a fresh breakup from a week ago hung heavily on his mind, everything about the relationship had been toxic.
nick didn't want to be at the club currently, he would have rather been at home sleeping the sadness away.
nicks ex, mandy, was abusive towards him and his fans. she had even slapped one of his friends, only because he was listening to a backstreet song.
the whole situation really messed nick's thoughts up.
aj walked up next to nick, knowing what was on his mind.
"c'mon man. you're better than this. you know you can find better. get laid, it'll clear your mind."
nick rolled his eyes, because that was all that ever seemed to be on aj's mind.
for once nick wanted a real relationship where a girl would love him for who he was.
he walked over to the bar and got a water, he didn't want to be hung over in the morning.
the last time nick drank, it was a mess and he didn't want that to happen ever again.
nick leaned against the bar counter, clocking everyone who was there.
the song poison by bill biv devoe boomed from the speakers.
nick's pov
my eyes scanned over a gorgeous brunette, she too looked like she didn't wanna be there.
there was no cup in her hand, and her back was resting against the wall, her knee bent and her foot resting on the wall.
her eyes were green, and they were mesmerizing.
she was pretty short, which i found cute.
her head bobbed to the beat, and i wanted nothing more than to walk up to her and talk to her.
she pulled down the grey right crop top she was wearing, you could tell she didn't want to be in the tight outfit she was dressed in.
gaining courage, i walked over to her.
her head was down, but her eyes shot up when she realized i was walking over to her.
i stopped in front of her, and let me tell you, she was prettier up close.
damn i thought to myself.
"i'm nick, nick carter."
i stuck out my hand, and she eyed it suspiciously.
she slowly stuck her hand out, shaking mine.
my hand immediately got a shock, but a good kind; it sent shivers down my spine.
"how come i recognize that name? i'm y/f/n."
i sigh. "no reason, nice to meet you y/n. i gave her a charming smile.
"so listen, i couldn't help but see that you looked bored. would you like to dance?"
she looks hesitant at first, she then bites her lip and nods her head.
i smile again. "well alright then." she holds out her hand and i take it, leading her to the dance floor.
the moment we stepped onto the floor, one of my songs, get down, started playing.
i sighed, praying in my head that she wouldn't know i sang a part in this song.
her body came closer to mine, and i could feel the heat. her hips were moving, and i put my hands on them, helping her sway them to the beat of my song.
she turned around & whispered in my ear, "i'm not a huge fan of this song."
i tried not to laugh really hard, i wasn't even offended.
i shrug. "it's not my favorite."
our bodies molded together, and it felt so nice.
i quietly started to sing the words into her ear, not realizing what i was doing.
she gasps, and realization hits her.
"damn, that's you."
i chuckle and nod my head.
"you sound really good." she lightly smiles, i thank god she didn't make a big deal and start fan girling.
"sing to me." she smirks and leans in to kiss my neck.
"gladly." i grin.
