Everyone put their best effort into their training sessions with Hestia, and she was growing stronger and stronger with every waking moment. The girl didn't even think that she would ever be able to learn how to control her powers, but with everything that the Avengers were doing to help her, she was getting better and better at working with them. She was beginning to understand what it meant for her to control her powers and she was more than happy to wake up every single day and get her ass kicked by the other Avengers.
She spent most of her days inside of a training room, waiting for all of the other heroes to throw everything they had at her. They wore special uniforms that wouldn't allow them to get burned by the fires that flowed from Hestia's hands. Some days, only a few of the heroes would be inside the room with her, giving her only a few targets to train with and fight against as she was learning how to harness and expel her powers properly. Other days, she had a great number of heroes in her midst, all of them doing whatever they could in hopes of tricking the young girl into doing something foolish.
Though, the more that she trained, the more she believed that she could take on anything. The more that she thought that she was the strongest that she could ever be and that she would be able to take on anything. Hestia was a force to be reckoned with and she knew that with the stronger that she became. The other heroes knew that she was growing more and more powerful with each of her sessions and that sooner or later, she would become too powerful to control.
But that wasn't the goal. That wasn't what the Avengers wanted to do with Hestia.
They didn't want to control her in any way, shape, or form. They wanted Hestia to be safe if she was ever sent out on a mission and that she would be able to use her powers accurately. And with her training sessions proving more and more that she was falling into her powers, they knew that she wouldn't have any problems. That she would be able to do whatever she could do in the world to protect it.
And that was something that Hestia wanted to do more than anything.
The dark haired girl was making her way down the corridor that would lead her to the training room, her hair tied in a high ponytail, wore a smile on her face. In the beginning, Hestia absolutely loathed her training sessions, especially when she was training with people like Charlotte Rogers, Fawn Galloway, and Wanda Maximoff. But now, she felt as if she could best even them, seeing as they were a few of the strongest heroes on the team. Though, there was one Avenger that she didn't ever think that she would be able to best in her training sessions, or ever in her life.
And that was the fallen star, Venus Seren. She was one of the most powerful of the Avengers, harnessing the power of a star, and Hestia knew that she would never be able to take her down. That she would never be able to go against an entity such as herself and she hoped that she would never have to go against something like that. The Avengers had quite a few strange being in their midst as heroes, and she hoped that she would never have to find herself fighting against the best of them.
Turning down a corner, she made her way into the training area and she pulled her fingerless gloves and tightened them around her wrist as she looked around herself, wondering which of the heroes that she was training against that day. Behind her, she could hear the door to the training area open and the voices of a few heroes follow suit. That was when she noticed a few of the regulars that helped her train on a day to day basis, and a smile appeared on her lips.
But then she saw Peter Parker enter the room with Mallory Snow and she gave them a nod as they entered. Then the clock on the far wall switched on and she looked up at the timer and she pressed her lips together. She snapped her head over to see that Fawn, Charlotte, Steve, Sam, Wanda, and James made their way into the room. A smirk appeared on Hestia's lips as she stared at the other heroes as they entered, and Steve gave the girl a smile.
The door to the training area opened again, and Hestia watched as Fayre made her way into the room, putting her hands on her hips as she glanced over everyone. But then her eyes landed on Hestia and she gave the young girl a look as she quirked an eyebrow.
"Are you ready for your session?" Fayre questioned her, and Hestia nodded her head.
"Of course, are you?" Hestia replied to her, which made all of the other heroes in the room chuckle. She glanced over all of them, pressing her lips together for a few seconds before she nodded her head. "Alright, let's get on with it."
