She hated the negative thoughts that she had about a man that had done whatever he could to help her. To break her out of a facility that was causing her so much harm, so why would he betray her? Why would he turn his back on her and become the enemy of the Avengers and work as some sort of sleeper agent? It was a foolish decision for him to make, and it was obvious for everyone who thought about it.

Even as she pushed through her training sessions with Peter Parker and Mallory Snow, they didn't seem to help to take her mind off of them. The two other teenagers did whatever they could to try and help the brunette take her mind off of everything that was going on around her. The one thing that Hestia did not do was reveal to anyone her thoughts and theories about what was going on with Atkin. She didn't know what the Avengers would've done if they had learned the truth about Atkin, and she assumed that they would've taken him away and put him into a cell.

Atkin had a conflicting relationship with Hestia because of her suspicions, and she wished that she would've been able to tell someone what she was thinking. What she believed was going on with Atkin. There were things that she wished had happened and what hadn't happened. Hestia wanted nothing but a normal life, though she realized that she was never going to have a normal life. That she was going to be the same person that she was when they had kidnapped her.

Seated in Juniper's room, she laid on the couch with a blanket tucked around her body as she was fast asleep. She tossed and turned on the couch as she waited for her cousin to return back from what she was doing in her workshop. Hestia assumed that she would've been alright as she laid on the couch, holding the blanket up to her chin, before throwing it down from her body.

As she slept, the door to her cousin's apartment opened and closed, but Hestia did not think much of it. Her dark hair fell off of the couch and her head was turned into the couch, clenching her jaw and declenching it. The figure who had entered the apartment and made their way over to the couch stared down at Hestia, and then they acted.

Their hand pressed against her face and covered her mouth and nose, stopping the oxygen from entering her lungs. Hestia began to struggle as they held down the pressure to her face. The dark-haired girl struggled to breathe as she smacked her hands against the figure's shoulder and face, and, at first, she had no idea who it was that was attacking her. But then her eyes began to focus on the man's face to see that it was the one person that she never thought would attempt to kill her.

Her eyes widened as she stared up at Atkin, before clamping her hand around his wrist and channeling her powers to burn him. He yelled in pain as he tore his hand away, giving her the chance to jump from the couch and make her way over to the door. But he caught up with her and slammed the door shut, before snatching a handful of her hair and hitting her head against the door and then throwing her back.

She rolled on the ground before she landed on her back, before snapping her head up to him. The corners of her lips curled back in a snarl as she glared at him, before creating a ball of fire in her hands and throwing it at him. The edges of his clothes began to burn before he was kicked against the door. The young girl pushed him to the side before she burst through the door, sprinting down the corridor as she yelled.

Charlotte Rogers and Scarlett Rowan were walking together down the halls when they heard Hestia scream out for help, and they jumped into action. The two female Avengers rushed toward Hestia and Charlotte grabbed onto her as she put her behind her as Scarlett stepped forward and used her powers to send Atkin to the ground. The red-haired woman approached him and she grabbed the collar of his shirt and held her hand up to send a vibration through his mind, knocking him out.

Charlotte ran her hand over Hestia's face as she held the young girl in her arms, as Scarlett began to drag Atkin away. Her breathing was rapid as she stood there, before she turned into Charlotte's chest and hugged the blonde haired woman. Charlotte rested her hand on the back of her head, before they began to make their way down the corridor.

Atkin was to be questioned for what he had done, although Hestia wanted much worse to happen to him.
