Hiniling ni Isay na maupo sila sa isang sulok dahil sa totoo lamang just being close face to face with Ice nanghihina ang kaniyang mga tuhod.
Ipinaliwanag ng kaibigan na naimbitahan ito for a photoshoot and segment guest para sa isang Magazine show sa isang local channel.
"Wow congrats celebrity level ka na talaga" sinabi naman ni Isay
"Well it's a late-night magazine show featuring different topics, people , places etc. and this time they wanted to feature some known names in UAAP"
"So may iba pang guests?"
"Yes but each player is featured and will have a 10-minute own segment"
"So...ikaw lang mag-isa sa 10-minute segment?"
"Its actually...me and Jessica..."
Tumango lamang si Isay.
"Well... congrats to both of you...pero ano kinalaman ko dito Ice?"
"I just wanted to ask if... can you come with me sa photoshoot at taping day? Its just you know me very well Isay. Im not comfortable with these things. I don't like the spotlight. Im not interested with too much attention. That's why social media does not interest me at all remember?..."
"So...bakit ka pumayag?"
"Well...there is a good pay for the guesting and exposure...It's a really sizable amount and gusto ko ibigay lahat for Coach Lim's medical expenses. He should get the best cardiologist in the most expensive hospital here in the country and that means a certain financial burden...doctor's follow-ups, maintenance medications... you know how heart attack can come back if not properly managed..."
Nakaramdam ng matinding inis si Isay dahil sa sinabing iyon ni Ice mas lalo pa niya itong minahal at sa pagkakataong iyon gustong gusto sana niyang yakapin ang kaibigan dahil sa thoughtfulness nito pero pinigilan niya ang kaniyang sarili.
"That's-that's a very nice of you..." malumanay na naisagot ng dalaga.
"So...yun lang? sasamahan lang kita?" dagdag pa ni Isay
"Well I need somebody with me sa dressing room, tulungan ako with how the show goes, when is my time to be up?, how should I be, how long to get ready, what clothing should I choose, help me with clothing changes, kasi may photoshoot din after and-"
"You mean gusto mo akong maging PA?"
"No- yeah I guess I just decribed you as a PA... pero most importantly...I just want someone familiar in an uncomfortable setting...and that's you...my bestfriend..."
Tinitigan ng binata sa mga mata ang dalaga.
Agad naman na pinutol ni Isay ang eye-to-eye contact.
"Ice kasama mo naman si Jessica" pagrarason pa ng dalaga
"Yes but she is also going to be busy with her own preparations,and im sure girls take more time getting ready, hair, make-up etc..."
"To put it simply...dapat nandun nga ako bilang alalay mo..." sagot naman ni Isay
"Isay-" hindi na nakapagtapos ng salita si Ice dahil nagsalita na din agad si Isay
"Sure! No problem I will do it. Just text me the date, time, place, ano kailangan kong dalhin and I will be there bilang dakilang Personal Assistant" tumayo na si Isay at binigyan pa ng ngiti ang kaibigan.
"Umm..sige Ice aalis na ako kanina pa ako hinihintay ni Candy at Ricky. Basta itext mo na lang lahat ng detalye sa akin and your alalay is ready. Kailangan ko na talaga umalis may exam pa ako after lunch. Bye"
