Peeraj, the largest fashion franchise in Romania, has expanded their business into restaurants. The group currently owns 8 restaurants and CEO Sachin Arora plans to double their share to 16 by the end of 2019-2020.

Bucharest, Romania - The largest fashion franchise in all of Romania is ready to conquer the world of restaurants next. Earlier in 2018, the company took over 75% of the shares of the chain of restaurants called Calif-Condimental. At the time of the takeover, the chain owned 7 different restaurants, all located in Bucharest.

Calif-Condimental was founded by three Romanian investors in 2010. They are most well known for their kebabs, Kebun, and their take-home sides. The dishes use fresh ingredients, fresh pasta, potatoes, and other meals inspired by recipes from the Orient.

The company has plans to diversify this by adding 11 more restaurants by the end of 2019-2020. According to Peeraj CEO, Sachin Arora, they would like to at least double the number of restaurants, but would also like to expand out of Bucharest and into the surrounding areas.

Earlier in 2018, Sachin Arora and the rest of the shareholders at Peeraj sold the CCC shoe franchise to the parent company in Poland for 33 million euros. This opened up the opportunity to take up other opportunities. Peeraj owns stores under brand names such as Skechers Shoes, Pimkie, Boggi, Swarovski, Geox, OVS, and A/E Armani Exchange. The power of the Peeraj name allows them to incorporate different brands under one group, adding to their business success. Customers know they can count on the name for quality products. Their diverse portfolio has made them the top fashion franchise in the country of Romania. According to the Ministry of Finance, the company gathered a net profit of over 1.8 million euros last year.
