"What did the receptionist say our room was Blythe?"

"She, er she said 4th floor," the boy was walking behind me in a daze, what the hell was wrong with him?

"Alright let's get the elevator then," I walked and pressed the button on the wall, stepped back and began waiting for the door to open

"She was so pretty wasn't she,"
"Huh?"
"The receptionist, Samantha, she oh my goodness,"
"Alright calm down Blythe don't get too fussed over her," I rolled my eyes as the elevator door slid open

"Why Anne? Are you jealous?" He stood still with an eyebrow raised in question as I walked into the lift and pressed the 4th floor button

"What's there to be jealous of?"

and at that the elevator door slid closed and Blythe was stood there shocked but then a smirk emerged on his handsome face. he loved winding Anne up, even if it meant acting and lying, the look on her face as enough

"Alright so looks like we're going to have to share a room but thank goodness we have a bed each and they're quite far away from each other,"

"What a shame Cherry blossom,"

I rolled my eyes again he really got on my nerves

"Right well I'm going to take a look around the block, see you later," I grabbed my rucksack which had a jumper, purse and umbrella in

"Well you can't just go out on your own, we're in New York and it's dark out, I'm coming with you."

"No you're not, I'm fine thanks, I don't need a bodyguard,"

"I'm not your body guard,"

I turned to face him, our faces now closer than ever and I searched in his eyes asking for freedom

"I just don't want you to get hurt," he was now searching in my crystal blue eyes for a chance for me to let him in

"Bullshit, you couldn't care less Blythe, go flirt your ass off with the receptionist," I grabbed my coat and bag then charged out the room. I didn't stop until I got to the front door of the hotel. I didn't need that stupid boy

"Everything alright miss?"

"Everything's alright sweetheart," I put every ounce of sarcasm into those three words. I didn't like that Samantha girl, I didn't know why but I just didn't.
