I Want to Love You Forever

I felt like my insides were in total knots. I can only imagine what Niall feels like.

And just when I thought I couldn't take any more waiting and anticipation, the pink envelope was being opened and I realized I was holding my breath.

And then it happened.

He won.

We both jumped to our feet and I'm not sure if I kissed him or he kissed me but we definitely completely kissed on national television.

And frankly, I couldn't have cared in the slightest.

I was practically screaming and jumping up and down in excitement as I watched him walk up to accept his award.

He made his speech thanking those important to him.

"Wow." He stated, speechless in shock of winning the award. "It's an honor to be nominated along side some of my friends. I have to thank my label and my team...I couldn't do any of this without them. A massive thank you of course, goes to the fans for voting...and I couldn't get up here tonight without also saying thank you to the beautiful lady by my side..."

And of course I was sobbing by this point and the camera turned to my face.

"I love you so much. Thank you for being my everything. I can't imagine my life without you." He said, smiling directly at me and speaking so calmly that you wouldn't have even known he had just won an award or that he was confessing his love for me to an entire room full of people, and cameras, and subsequently the world.

He wrapped up his speech and exited the stage and the second he got back to me I wrapped my arms around him and held him for a few seconds as the world fell into a blur around us.

The rest of the night went by quickly, with hand shakes and congratulations and more introductions, after parties and the like and at some point in the wee hours of the morning we stumbled home together.

Home together.

I love that.

This is the first morning since Niall asked me to move in with him that we haven't really had an agenda or anywhere we were rushing to be and waking up in his arms this morning allows this new arrangement to fully sink in for me.

He's always been my home, but now we get to have a home together and I can't remember a time that I've ever been happier.

He pulls me out of my thoughts when he lets out a sleepy grunt and instinctively pulls me closer to him by tightening his arms around my waist. His face tucks into my neck and I giggle as his facial hair tickles my skin.

He places a few gentle kisses there and then up my chin before he stills and sighs.
