"Tina, come take a pic with santa" Grandma's unnecessarily high pitched voice brought me back to reality.

I was still sitting by the dining table even after Christmas dinner. The whole family gathered around Santa who was in his pants by the way.

Tristan invited his girlfriend which made things worse. She had bigger boobs, ass and wider hips. Should've expected that. He was dating a young rich model.

I felt like crying to the world and yanking out my hair. My heart was bleeding watching them smile and share kisses every minute. The family cheered and congratulated them while I sat behind, at the brim of tears.

Turns out, Christmas was still gonna be boring at the end. I mean, I got into a mall and broke into Santa's dress room before stealing his candies, gifts and pants. I was ashamed, I couldn't even go close to the family after being caught.

It was worse than the worst day of my life. I was bored, disgraced and embarrassed. Imaging how bad it would've been if Santa came with the police.

The police would've thrown me behind bars and Tristan would've looked at me like a thief.

"I'm okay here!" I yelled back and flashed my fake smile.

"Come on, you can at least meet Tristan's girlfriend" Mom said, still chewing on the ribs dad got her.

"Okay" I sighed and stood up, walking towards her with a fake smile

It wasn't her fault

She was just lucky enough to get the gut she loved and i couldn't blame her for that.

With that, I erased the fake smile and plastered a real one

"Hey I'm Christina King" I pulled out my hand

"Autumn Decker" she took my hand in her perfectly manicured soft hands and let's not forget those acrylic nails. They're to die for

"I love your nails" I complemented, sitting beside her. The whole family went back to their businesses, either eating, playing, chatting with Santa or just walking around

"Thanks. I did them on my own"

"Woah. You're good at this. I tried once and I glued my nails together" I said, remembering the past. A day ago

"It's easy" she laughed "We can meet some times and I'll teach you"

Talk about kindness.

"You know what? You're different from what I thought you'd be" I said

"Let me guess, you thought I was proud, confident and mean?" She asked

"Exactly" I said "But I'm sorry"

"Nah. It's okay. Most people have that feeling." She waved it off

"I'm truly sorry" I apologized again

"It's okay" she paused "Can I have you phone number?" She asked

"Of course" I said and we exchanged numbers.

"It was nice meeting you Christine but I'm leaving" she stood up

"Why?"

"I have a photoshoot in the next one hour" she said as she took her purse

"On Christmas day?"

"Can't get a break from this job"
