I told Taylor that Kayla could stay with us tonight, but I don't leave for another hour, so I asked him to bring her by the studio.

While I was trying to help someone with one of their steps, Kayla & Taylor walked in.

"Auntieeeee!" Kayla said, running up to me.

I picked her up and she gave me a hug.

"Y'all can take a break," I said to the dancers.

"Auntie, can I dance with Monique?" Kayla asked.

"Of course you can," I said putting her down.

She took her shoes off and handed them to me before walking over to Monique. I noticed that she sometimes walks on her toes and it doesn't seem to bother her.

"Taylor, have you noticed that Kayla walks on her toes?" I asked him.

"Yeah, but we never really understood why," he said.

"Have y'all ever thought about putting her in a dance class?"

"Not really, but if we did, we'd wanna put her in a place where we trust the people," he said.

"Let her come here! You won't have to worry because I'll be here," I said enthusiastically.

"Do you or Monique teach anything?"

"Yeah. I teach tap, ballet & hip-hop for kids & adults and Monique teachers jazz & hip-hop for kids & teens, so she'll be with us," I said.

"You teach ballet?" he asked, almost laughing.

"Yes," I laughed.

"Okay, so how much would it be?" he asked.

"Don't worry about that. Y'all are basically family to me."

"Are you sure?" he asked, "I wouldn't wanna get you in trouble."

"Trust me, I won't."

"Alright, I'll talk to Marieka. Well, I'm gonna go now," he said.

I gave him a hug and he said bye to Kayla, then he left.

We decided to let everyone leave early, so I let Kayla dance around with Monique for a little while.

"You ready to go see your uncle?" I asked her.

She put her shoes on and got her bag, and I got her car seat and we went home.

When we got to the house, Blake was already there.

"I'm in the den," he shouted.

We walked into the den to see him watching SportsCenter, like always.

"Hey baby," I said pecking his lips.

"Hey. How was your day?" he asked.

"Very long. How about you? How was practice?" I asked.

"Long & annoying."

"Uncle Blake!" Kayla yelled, running around the couch. He picked her up and sat her on his lap.

"What's up!" he said.

Besides Ford, Kayla was the one person that always made Blake happy. He's like putty in her hands.
